Honestly it's the small, simple things in life that bring the most joy to my life. Finding love and "the next big adventure" and all that is great, but I honestly couldn't care less weather those things happen to me or not. If they do I will welcome them with open arms, but nothing beats sitting in front of the tv or playing video games while having a pizza lol.

Thoraya: I am 53 years old and right before lockdown I bought an electronic drum kit. I've always thought it would be fun to play the drums. I haven't played a musical instrument since the early 80s (and not well). I had never even held a pair of drumsticks until I bought my kit. I play nearly every day for 45 minutes... and I'm having a blast! Besides keeping me sane being alone in my Seattle apartment for the lockdown, it's brought me so much joy! I may never be very good at it, but I really enjoy playing. Besides, even if I"m having a bad day, I'll just go bang on my drums and they still make me happy. I can't wait to hear your band... I waited until a global pandemic forced me to give it a try. Stop waiting!

I'm waiting to be able to tell the stories I want every day. A couple years ago, I realized how much I loved storytelling through video, and how I could impact and inspire others through my stories, and decided that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I knew that this dream wouldn't just wait on me, and so I had to take action. I moved out to LA a year ago, and decided I would never work a normal job again, and only live off of what I was able to create. I lived on friends couches, sometimes my car, for a whole year, until last month, I was finally able to make enough money off of freelance work to afford my own apartment! It was the best feeling everrr I'm still trying to figure out how to be able to live off of creating my own videos and stories (tryna do the whole KZread thing), and waiting for things to fall into place somehow, but for now... Getting this apartment, and finally having money come in off of my passions, it feels like I'm so close to living the lifestyle and having the dream job I've been waiting for!!

I’m waiting to reunite with my parents of whom got sent to the Kingdom above. My mom passed at 38 y/o in ‘89 n my dad passed this February. See, I’ve been diagnosed with brain cancer n it continues to spread so therefore, I’m ready to join my parents whenever the man above calls on me. I had misunderstood the point of this question until the people started answering. I actually thought the question was intending: "What are you waiting for in completing your goal" or "What obstacle is preventing you from moving forward." But the after watching the video, I discovered that the question was interpreted as "What are your goals or dreams?"

I highly resonate with the person at 2:20. "I'm waiting for healing from people who never healed themselves." Wow.

What’s so touching in this video is that you can see how generational LOVE can win in the eyes of the son of the band teacher. Her 100 year old Mother allowed her to pursue her love for music and it’s engulfed her and her children in such a liberating and loving way. Thanks to his grandmother he’s able to see creative dissonance as a process and part of the craft of not only creating music but of creating period! The grandmother’s lessons and spirit is in even HIM! (Ik she hasn’t passed but ifykyk).Love to see the love 💕

I really resonate with the girl that said "peace within myself". I'm a recent graduate, but have had many health issues that have created challenges. I managed to finish my last semester of college and graduate with my Bachelor's in social work. I have been going to counseling since before I graduated and t has helped me learn so much about myself and how I view and fit into this world. I'm still waiting for the confidence to find a job that I will hopefully love for years to come and not get caught up in the fact that I am a bit older than the average person starting their first job.

It's really hard. I thought once he was gone, he would be gone. And that I would miss him, but since we outlive our fur babies that it would be okay (?). But in death as it was in life, I just continue to love him more and more each day, and it's hard not being able to look at him and share that. And know that it was reciprocated. And you just hope that by loving them in the way that you can, that it is enough. I hope that you and your fur baby have many more cuddles left, and spend much time together.

This really hurts. I love these videos so much are so vibrant and beautiful. I wanted to answer this somewhere where I wouldn’t be judged too harshly. But I’m going to try my hardest to go into detail about how I’m feeling and what I’m waiting on. I’ve been out of high school for 7 years and I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression exponentially. I’m not the same person I was and I feel broken as a person. I’ve always had this issue of “connecting to people differently than other people” and I’ve really struggled with making connections with people. I struggled with feeling like I mattered to people like how people mattered to me. I was a really extroverted kid with abandonment issues so this really broke me further growing up. But to get to the point, my remaining two friends are beginning to move on and drift away from me and that’s okay. But I’m just broken that I haven’t been able to fill my life like they have and I’ve never been able to understand it. I’ve felt so alone these past few years. I guess what I’m really waiting for, besides genuinely some sort of miracle is a genuine human connection. I just want a friend who loves me as much as I love them and that’s it.

I love this video. It was so nice to hear you being asked this question by that man and your response. I know I'm waiting to be a mom. Been working with kids for years now and I cannot wait for the day that I have my own bundle of joy. Hopefully in the next year or two!

I love the band and music teacher who speaks so warmly of her mother! Just goes to show that we never stop being our parents' children (especially when the relationship is a good one). I lost my father as a teenager and I cannot imagine life without my mother. She is my rock
