I actually just got diagnosed with this I just turned 31 I cried and got scared I just had a irregular pap but my oncologist assured me it was normal and it was like the ones that causes cancer or warts or anything. I have to go back in 6 months to see if it’s still present

Hi doc I was diagnosed with HPV my doctor says it wasn’t the HPV that cause cancer he said that my Pap smear was good. But he didn’t suggest for me to do a coloposcopy. He just said I should come back in a year from now. Should I be worried?

I have HPV I noticed warts on me 2 months ago, one big one that looks like a cauliflower and two small ones that looks like they are still growing, my sex encounter lately as been rough, multiple partners, and receiving Oral sex, please I am just 27 I still have a long way ahead of me. If I get to cure this anyway I must say I have learnt a lesson.

I am a man and got a full testing done, even for HPV. But in the video you said there’s no test for the man? So is my test invalid? My test said high risk HPV was detected.. I’m going to the doctor

For the abnormal Cells it can come back to normal mostly. If also not very sexually actif. Mine was abnormal last year. I just got my new results it’s normal. I was so… anxious like crazy. You need to do your test soon again in 6 months or 1 years ( the most recommended) talk to your doctor.

High risk HPV was found on my pap in 2022. They waited a year, and then in 2023, as it was still present, a colscopy was done. Results were biegn, but now my pap this year still shows HPV so I'm doing another colscopy 😔 is this for life? I'm 32, and no vaccine has been recommended to me. I hope it just clears, but it's very stressful feeling so unsure.

Hi. Unfortunately, the routine is to do a colposcopy (with biopsy preferably) and repeat pap smear each year until it clears or the biopsy shows "CIN-2" or greater.

Also, you may get the vaccine. It will protect against other strains of HPV but will not protect against the type that you currently have.

No, warts on fingers do not infect your private parts or your partners private areas... However, if you have concerns about cervical cancer get pap smears done yearly and request to be tested for hpv.

People please look up Home remedies for hpv u don’t need the keep procedures and doctors don’t know about it so they can’t tell u

You can get it from pools, shared surfaces or skin to skin contact with a family member or friend

@@augustek5382That is the same hpv, it’s just a different strain. There’s about 150-200+ strains and only 40 of them are transmitted sexually. It can be transmitted non sexually like in the case of plantar warts. I wish she expounded on the non sexual strains because they are way more common than the STI strains.
