I think there should be more studies done on BV. I had this issue with my last partner and could not figure out why. After over a year of getting BV while being with the same partner, I decided to leave that relationship. During an open conversation after the breakup, my ex admitted that he was having unprotected sex with random trans men he sought out online. My ex had a problem with ejaculation, so he hardly ever ejaculated during intercourse. During our conversation, he also admitted that the same happened with his ex before me. After the breakup and my final time getting antibiotics from my doctor, I never had BV again. It was not easy sharing my story, but I think it's helpful to share.

I think from this testimony that BV is a sexual transmitted infection. And men can carry bacteria in there.... If they have had unprotected sex

Hi. I always have protected sexual intercourse, but since i have permanent partner, we decided to try intercourse without using condom. Immediately after the intercourse i got BV with symptoms including mild pain, itching and feeling unwell down there. The results have shown enterococcus. My doctor prescribed antibiotics which successfully cured the bacteria. One month later we tried again without condom and the symptoms appeared again. I am wondering how can i have normal unprotected intercourse without getting BV? Thanks

Use vaginal boric acid suppository’s those pills are inserted in your vaginal and work wonders for vaginitis, yeast infections, and your ph levels. Make sure you and your partner showered before sex. And also make sure you urinate and shower after sex as well because it flushes out the bacteria.

I read on another comment a woman kept getting the issue even tho they were married. She and her husband took antibiotics together and the priblem was over, they both needed to take it at the same time. Hope this helps

so in one video you said men can carry the bv strand on their skin but in this video the comments are saying they can’t carry the bv strand..

For the past 5 years I have been trying to cure my BV, and finally found a therapy which works in the long terms - doing it for 6 months, and not for 1. Having enough lactobaccilicus in the vagina is the best protection against many pathogens and bacteria. And its the hardest. Vaginal acidity is what needs to be constantly kept at the right level, otherwise good bacteria cannot grow. Lactic acid was my saviour, and vaginal probiotics. Of course, after a course of vaginal metronidazole. My partner never did anything, as I think while men do not have vagina, they cannot cultivate gardnerella vaginalis 😂

@@ladyj71107 Hi, we do not have much choice here, where I live, but fortunately we have one option, which contains the right strains of lactobacillus, proven to be found in the vaginal microbiome. So, when you pick a probiotic for vaginal healt - oral ot vaginal capsules - always check the ingredients and look for the strains Rhamnosus, Reuteri, Gasseri .

@@ladyj71107 Always check the strains of lactobaccilus you are about to use - crispatus, gasseri, jensenii, iners. They have to be mentioned on the product label. Other strains have minimal to no effect in the vaginal microbiota.

I need help for the past 6 years it's all I get and my doctor only give me temporary help the Antibiotic but if I have sex again and I'm out of my pills well I get it again and again 😞 please help me not get temporary help but permanent help please

Did you get tested for STD and bacteria in your vaginal smear? What does the microscope show - do you have enough good bacteria lactobacillus?
