I agree with you. Work-life balance in most companies they speak about it. But in reality, no one can practise it. As a rough estimate, 80% of the Indian population is in the corporate world.

Plz raise voice against corporate exploitations so that Indians too enjoy 32-35 hours working week....like europeans...I dont understand why these corporate Stooges like Narayan Murthy push for 70 hours work week...when advancement of Generative AI , AGI ( Artificial General Intelligence) in upcoming years can ease our workload 10-15 times...take the efficiency to some next level ...why these narcissistic old baffoons sitting at the top , living on dividend incomes are so eager to screw people psychologically and physically??? If we embrace AI properly , ethically we can free ourselves from slogging 52-55 corporate hours....and better focus on our own creative , emotional needs.... We need works those really add value in our life...and dont become the cause of our depression....

We indians have a mentality that clearing one exam is key to a successful life. This mentality force Indians to rote learning by killing creativity and in depth thinking. We never explore anything just because of fear of failure.

In corporate life it is all about survival of the fittest with the capitalist mind and a bit of luck. The top guy in the corporate will have enough time to socialise, attend parties and go to golf clubs and get paid in crores. So he has to make sure that the lower and middle level team sacrifice everything. So the cycle repeats in corporate life. The system is like that as corporates also have profitability target and every year competition also increasing intense. Our parents could survive because those days competition was less every where and they had a stable 10am to 4 pm job. Mostly those days jobs were in govt banks, govt universities and in govt monopolistic companies. Hence everyone had a single lifetime career till retirement in a single job and had abundant work life balance. After 1990s when india economy got opened the game changed. But still even though it is tough we can practice it.

I think we need to think about below:- 1. Turning Education system upside down - Inside out and go back to gurukul system & culture(Sounds idiotic, isnt it? Well much better when you compare it to Factory model education system (IIT, JEE, Door to USA) ....you know... Blend early financial education, Macro economics, Survival etc 2. Joining Gym does not guarantee good fitness, there is a difference in being mentally fit and physically fit vs looking good. Opt for both... 3. In the upcoming there will be no Value for HARD SKILLS, Gen AI will take care of 90%, 10% you need to Sell yourself and that orbit will not exist. 4. Not sure how should one work...Work like a donkey, Work like a monk, Work like the one who thinks that he has figured it out all of it, Work smart, Smarter, Smartest...you know there is a competition of yourself with in you 🙂 5. I Still think there is a reason why Mars is being explored, because top 5% have made this planet hell. All these above are debatable....

Well few observations that I observed working with Indian companies Vs pure MNC org. Indian companies: 1) STOP BOOT LICKING YOUR BOSSES. 2) dont pretend to work hard after office hours. I have seen some ppl just do time pass from morning 9AM to 3PM and then they start working late . The management only sees ppl who do that. 3) On day 1 the companies should enforce culture on threir employees rather than learning some nonsensical training. culture and ethics should be part of annual appraisal. 4) HR is only sh1t strict with BGV. They are not concerned about company culture or ethics. Many org's in our country dont have ethics or compliance team. 5) companies should treat ppl in respectful manner.dont treat ppl like dogs. 6) understand even employees have family. 7) even employees should earn trust and not misuse company policy or find loopholes. yes agreed sometimes energy levels will be down. MNCs: 1) Real mnc bring in their own policy n culture to their establishment 2) they will ask the reason y we r working late. 3) they will ask 360 degree feedback. 4) they understand n respect life after office hours. 5) they will clearly understand if we r bootl icking if mgmt is not Indian. Note: this is applicable only when Indian mgmt doesnt interfere. These are the observation i have seen after working in country and outside country. We like to show ourselves as slaves..

All must practise detachment . this the greatest teaching of vedanta . Chant Hanuman chalisa . There is nothing other than God philosophy help be detach my self from all the surrounding . It is not gone yet the detachment , thought still pull me into some responsibility and stress me out .There could be many ways where one can free the mind. Dao said if one sees everything spontaneously happening , one is free and detached as there is no one . Our school should teach all philosophies . To my surprise , to understand corporate I studied many economic theories and even Marx Das Capital . But it is too late in life when I see career is getting destroyed and health is getting destroyed . Corporate should have ideally given me guinness world record for doing some the projects so fast . Somebody should have like Marx truthfully write a grand corporate theory so that it is clear to all from very beginning. One writer very interestingly said economic books have hardly any reference to economist . All books are actually sanitised and created a blurred vision and we constantly try hard to manuvoure thinking world is fair and just. But actually if you go to history one will find England used to loot Spanish ships for gold before ruling the world

yeah, Me too was told your life will get settled once you do hard work. I was lucky though. I questioned as it's a reality or the people who are telling me, they don't know what they are talking. Now I know what to do in my life. It's not a corporate job. I have been doing a corporate job for a while then I will do the thing which makes me a lot of money. I already have a plan but it's just it requires a lot of time to study. Also there is very less future in corporate Job. Many I know they don't want to end up in Corporate world. They always wanted to do something else but because of the sake of survival they are stuck into their job. Lastly, life is actually beautiful but we end up messing our own life. I don't want to do that.

Just gym bill? 1. Nutrition in fruits and vegetables are 100% less compared to 50 years ago. So, gain knowledge about soil health and sustain soil. Grow your own plants even if they fail. Because it will teach you valuable lessons. 2. Do yoga/activity @ 120 beats per min atleast 45 mins a day. Just pulling some string weights in gym is not good enough. 3. Eat very less, eat very less sugars, salts, oils, maida etc, eat protein and fiber food which can reach your large intestine. Learn to handle hunger and only feed food to the body when it really needs it. Food is not entertainment. 4. Relieve stress by doing pranayama or shouting or dancing or music etc.

Today they forced me to resign and the surprise is HR also with managers. I have decided to file a case in labor court. Global HR is simply reading my emails and ignoring. Today almost 99% of employees don't know what is ATS in organization. Everyone is doing same copy paste work. Moving on to pay scale they pay in thousands and they make billings in lakhs. And what not 1) Office politics 2) Favourtism 3) Biased decisions 4) Exploitation 5) Dictatorship 6) Bribing labor commissioner 7) Internal Dramas 8) Taking undue advantage of innocent employees 9) Threatening to terminate 10) Getting IT work done by paying NON-IT salary.
