In today's episode (of a multi-part interview), I sit with Mansoor Hasan, a depth psychologist to discuss what archetypes are in relation to the Islamic ritual of Ashura as well as the 'mother' archetype as found in Christianity, Hinduism and film. The relation of thermodynamic concepts are also used to elaborate on psychic realities which may not seem apparent on surface level but at a deeper level manifest in rituals, art, mysticism, etc.
