🔥What a Year It Has Been! 🙌 Restoring & Building My EF Civic Hatchback In 10 MINUTES (Or Less!)💨
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉
Looking back for the last 1.5 years, rebuilding my EF was definitely one of the most exciting and proud things I've done during this COVID time. Of course, it was pain in the a** but totally worth it in the end!
In 2022, I'm so stoked to go for car meetups when the weather gets better! If you're in B.C., Canada, hit me up!👋
In this video, I made a compilation of my EF CIVIC from how it started out to how it is now.

I wish I could have the money to fix my suspension because is dying :(, nice video bro.

Thanks man. Yeah new good set of suspension is expensive. Sometimes it's a tough decision even if you had the money cause it costs as much as the car. Lol.
Came out nice! Is that a purple / aubegine metallic colour? Gas-less MIG too? I bought my first Civic this week an EF. :)

It's actually the factory flint black metallic colour. And yes, gas-less mig. Such a handy tool. haha. That's awesome! An EF is such a fantastic car. My fav body style out of all the Civics.
I also have a black ef si, I've had it for 22 years now n don't think I'll ever get rid of it! Awesome work n love the video, thanks for sharing! Did u repaint it with the same factory black? How do u like the ride n feel with new bushings? Was the power window conversion pretty easy? Hope u enjoy the car for many years to come! Very tasteful build! Take care

I did repaint it with the same factory black. I hear different brands of paint show either more gold or more purple. The paint I used seemed to match up great. The car drives and handles like new with the new bushings and suspension. Feels much more solid. The power window conversion is pretty easy. I've done the conversion many times before, but this was the first time going with oem switches. I have a video on the full install. Thanks! I can't wait to drive it around when the weather becomes nicer. I do wish I could find a full AC system though. Would love to put in AC.

Your si didn't come with ac? Or is it just inoperable? I've been debating removing mine to declutter the engine bay a lil, never gets much use up here in Seattle anyways...

@@RepreKent1221 My Si didn't come with AC. It was an optional thing for these cars. I do remember back in the day, I'd come across so many these cars with AC in the junk yard. But now, there aren't many of these cars in the junk yard to find parts from. I'm in Vancouver, BC and there are hot days in the summer where AC would be so nice. Rolling the window down just doesn't work sometimes. Haha 😄

@@BudgetGears Dude, I've got a nearly mint 1991 Si in Tahitian green, that I will never sell. I'm in your area. We should get together sometime. I'm friends with a lot of EF guys around here.

Will bushing for ESI fit in EF?
@BudgetGears
Жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with the ESI, but after googling, it's pretty much same as the 92-95 Honda EX-V that we have in North America. It depends on which bushing you're replacing. There are a bunch that are the same as the EF, but a bunch that are different. One way to check is to search the bushing up on Honda's website and see the application. If it lists both vehicles then it'll fit. If you're looking to get the entire bushing kit from Energy Suspension or Prothane or any other poly urethane companies, then no, not all the bushings would fit. A lot of them will fit, but the application is vehicle specific.

Ahhhh I watch your video. I seen your brakes , And …… did u put your bleeders upside down. They are on the wrong side. They need to be up …………. And lock your coil rings. So the bouncing and vibration don’t spin them down. And your lower on one side. That’s why there’s two. To lock it
@BudgetGears

I didnt do anything upside down. My calipers were new and mounted correctly to the correct side. The bleeder valve was facing the same as the old one. And coilover are locked. I know how to adjust coilovers. But thanks for the tips.
