I used to see barn finds of 67 mustangs and such, nowadays people are finding barn finds of old 200sx and Civics like this one, man time changes fast
You've just restored the soul of that car. Thank you..
Love these no-bullshit-just-build builds. Respect for your work and approach. You cut corners where it's allowed, and you make no compromises where you shouldn't make compromises. Good work.

I just gotta say you gotta be proud of yourself. You took this car that was about ready to get destroyed. And yet turn it into a modern piece of art.. Outstanding job
The restoration was perfect. In addition, the understated aesthetic tuning gives the Civic a sporty and attractive look. Many compliments. A job done with passion
I can barely change my oil and valve cover gasket. Can't imagine the level of skill it takes to do this. Respect!!
Gentlemen!!!!! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!!!! I've been in the auto repair business since I was a boy, my father had a body shop for nearly thirty years and I've been painting for 22 years. NOBODY understands the work we do and what it takes to make something beautiful from almost nothing. Bravo guys!!!!
The sad thing is no shop I would pay would do as good of a job as you! People just don’t care as much unless it’s their own car. I’ve had a b18c1 fully rebuilt and in 300 miles was leaking from valve cover and idles too high. This was at a very famous shop for JDM cars not a cheap shop. Also my paint looks like shit when I paid for that too and car has been in garage for 10 years never driven. Absolutely amazing attention to detail and thank you so much for sharing. I wish you were in SoCal I would ask you to fix up my 93 eg. It isn’t anything as bad as the one you found in a barn. Thank you for sharing watching was like therapy and what a beautiful transformation😎
Always enjoy your builds, seriously one of my favorite channels. Keep it up dude!

I don't know the first thing about cars and only have a slight interest in them anyway, so not sure why KZread recommended your channel to me! But the range of skills and knowledge you have is incredible, it's so nice to see people creating and building things rather than destroying things. Amazing stuff and great viewing.

Just happened to run across this video. My buddy and I built a civic like that with the Type R motor and the 5 lug conversion - car wasn't fast in a straight line, but it was almost literally a go-kart for the street. So fun. The best part of the video is watching you spend time with your son - time flies as a parent and all these little things you do with them you forget about, but they are monumental to them. God Bless from the USA!
I owned a 92 Civic pearl white tan leather interior with wood grain steering wheel and matching shift knob. I wish I still had that car.
Great restoration from the beginning to end. Absolutely love your videos. You're skills are so amazing. And then to just give it away in the end. Wow. You're absolutely truly a man that passionately loves doing what you do. Much respect.
MASTERFULLY done! Wow! I love how you saw the potential and beauty in this discarded car and worked to make that vision happen. This car is now a show stopper and the fact you are giving your viewers a chance to win it is mind-blowing. This car went from a piece of junk to a future classic. The new owner of this gem will be one very happy person.
You inspire young mechanics and resto mechanics like me to go further. I really enjoy the effort you put into these too.
No one should be allowed to have this much talent. Love your work mate.

if you've got the skill (and the shop + tools) you'll make way more doing this and selling them than at any stupid job, and you'll actually enjoy yourself.
You are a excellent mechanic and body man and you're scottish that is a bonus.
My first new car was a 1976 Honda CVCC with a 1500cc engine. It came in two colours, bright orange or bright yellow. Was a really fun car to drive.
This brings me back. The coupe version of this was one of the best cars I've ever owned. Great job! I miss how simple JDM cars used to be.
