For example if you are a tower repairmen in Dubai where every building is tall then good or New Mexico where not so many tall anything not so good considering the danger lol. Just cause something is dangerous doesnt mean it pays well. I was thinking about doing it cause fear isn't at all a fear of mine but idk

It's because the entire top part of the climb, which is why they don't just send a handyman, he's using those tiny pegs that his carabiner can't even properly grip to. It's effectively a free climb from that point on

I've heard of space elevators. Never space ladders.

Honestly this is both a MGS3 reference and a Tomb Raider reference, as in the communication tower climb lmao

Scary part is when he gets near the very top, even if he hooks those rods his carabiner can easily slip out of it.

As someone who has played metal gear since 2001 and does this for a living (not to these extreme heights but around 200 meter towers) I have not once thought of this lol

was half expecting the "ding ding ding ding" of you climbing up the ladder lmao. Sidenote: This acapella version of the song was so brilliantly used and done. It told us that Snake was alone, he was far away from people who loved him (paramedic etc.) and he was a lone soldier. The whole ladder also allowed the developers to load the next scene seamlessly, without a loading screen. On the PS2 it was a very clever use and brillant game dev. That ladder scene is so well timed, that you transition from a jungle to a desert, and by the time Snake get's to the top, you can hear the wind howling(SFX get's louder) and the music fades and it's like "yeah you're alone Snake, but you got a mission to do"

My man really found the entrance to the secret boss arena.

We built steel towers, sticking out of the clouds, like a needle, piercing the sky, to send signals to tiny moons of metal, powered in eternal flight by gravity and light, only so we could have a chat, anytime, anywhere.

Skydiving rigs really don't weigh that much, the problem would more be that the leg straps/harness of a chute would interfere with that of the climbing gear.

@blablabla Idk man, those pegs don't look safe at all so his harness doesn't have to fail to fall to his death. Also look down and that's all concrete and metal. Compared to grass and trees while sky diving and that's nearly guaranteed death right there.

The view alongside with the vocals makes this one of my favourite videos of all time
