Flying To 17,500 Feet on my Paramotor!

Ойын-сауық

This is by far the most insane video I have ever had the opportunity to live through and make! what was literally the coldest I have ever been which is surprising considering I ice dive, and this is the highest I have ever been outside a plane! god is amazing and im sure heaven will be 10x this view! can't wait till the next wild adventure. and for everyone wondering this was all done in completely legal airspace!
Thankful for Susie my Beautiful Girlfriend and her Mom for coming out and supporting me!

    That looked absolutely amazing. I've always wanted to be able to do that, and maybe one day I'll get to. Definitely on my bucket list for sure. I'd definitely use that method of transit for quick grocery or liquor store runs, as it definitely beats sitting in traffic just to grab one or two items. I would definitely fly to a friend's house instead of taking a car and sitting in a parking lot of traffic. Awesome video.👍

    My first jump in Vietnam was from 2200 feet. I was so scared that I couldn't even spit. My next jump seemed routine. My lowest jump was 850 feet, which kind of worried me if the chute would open, but it did without hesitation. My grandson knew that I had parachuted in the Marines and he wanted me to go with him to the classes at the local airfield, so I did. I never knew that he expected me to jump with him. I was 64 at the time and never jumped since the war, but I did it just for him. We jumped from 900 feet. I was kind of afraid, but I put my faith in God and whoever folded my chute.

    This was reckless. Our ATC radar won't be able to see him because he's moving so slow, our moving target filter would likely filter him out. He also doesn't have a transponder, so the jets can't see him with their traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS), and ATC can't get an altitude readout on him. He's also flying right near busy airspace (Cleveland's Class Bravo airspace). He's lucky. That is all.

  • @EscapeTheCloudsOfficial

    @EscapeTheCloudsOfficial

    @Ordinary Average Guy From what I've seen elsewhere, he was likely completely legal to do this. A paramotor is a CFR Part 103 ultralight aircraft, and therefore does not have the transponder requirements from CFR Part 91 that apply to heavier aircraft. However, there is a huge distinction between "legal" and "safe".

    Ok, I’ll give this guy the “MONSTER BALLS” award for 2021! What he did is insane! Those who fly can better comprehend the courage (or stupidity lol) it took to complete such a feat.
