I live about 35 minutes drive from Market Harborough, it is a fantastic market town, with a high percentage of independent retailers. I think Mary Portas voted it one of the best high streets in Britain

Absolutely love it. So my style. Excellent fixtures and fittings. Love the marble. So much better than most London properties.

@Matt and Summer you don’t need to. I’m a professional property developer. London is over hyped and you can get away with mediocre f&f and get away with it because of the PC. These properties are superb. Love the marble and the bare brick.

Interesting concept having the bedrooms on the first floor and the master at the top. As a mum though, this wouldn’t work for me as a family home as i would worry for younger children being that far away from me, next to the front door. Not sure if that just me though being overly cautious! I love all the finishes in these houses though and I especially love the bath in the master of the second property. Personally prefer the first property.

No, i though that was odd too. If i were to buy the last house that would be the first thing I would rip out even before i moved in.

flooring with the weave design at around 2 mins was eye catching! I'd agree, draws are better for keeping stuff organised as opposed to cupboards. Got upto 7 mins on house one and the thing that stands out for me, and not in a good way, is the lack of natural light and lack of views in the property. House No.2 seemed marginally better but no views to talk about. Not impressed but great channel!

Yes great Bowden best place to be MH, couldve reviewed some of thee newer mulberry large homes. No need to live in renter in harborough you can live outside and walk in 5-10 mins

prefer the showroom unit. Personally feel the layout for the 899k unit a bit awkward. Like the review.😁

That giant basketweave floor is interesting. I've never seen that before. And a lit shower nook too. Never seen that before either. I think I actually prefer the first one.

Beautifully finished but so Claustrophobic - I would feel like I was in prison!

nice house but just seems a bit dark and closed, has Victorian elements to it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've lived in Harborough all my life, the towns changed loads in the last 10 years or so. And I never knew this place existed or where it is even located. Edit, I now know where it is located in the town centre.

I notice that you haven't done any house tours of properties in Sandbanks. There are some wonderful properties there to be viewed

Where abouts is this in Market Harborough, I've lived in Harborough all my life and have never heard of this new development. Edit: I know where this is located now, on School Lane not far from the Conservative Club lol, just of Fairfield Road. 👍 Yes Harborough is very popular with people moving up from London and Southeast England, 55 mins by train at the moment there is even a train service that only stopped at Leicester, Market Harborough straight to London St Pancras but when the new electrification in operational journey times will be 47 mins.

The house is lovely but the location is a bit iffy. It’s in between a private school a restaurant carpark and a shop carpark! Shame really, so high spec for such a high price. 3 have been empty since they were built.

Nice finish - shame about the size of the kitchen and dinning area in the show home.

Can u look at house that cost £500.000 also love the video

The ground floor is disappointing, I can’t live without loads of light coming in. A courtyard or green patch at the back. This felt like you were in a basement. However as you guys go up it’s hard to beat the value and finishes

Beautiful townhouse but don't really like the flooring with 3 different stone colours..

This makes that 500k flat in notts look like tat to be honest

Can you guys check out brand new developments (studios, 1 bed , 2 and 3 bed flats) in the London prime areas of Shoreditch called 'The Arc', City Road, EC1V, and in Whitechapel, 'Silk District, E1. They're really pretty and amazing to look at whenever I go past them. Zoopla mentions these blocks have facilities like a gym, lounge, workspaces, landscaped rooftop Gardens, cinema room and 24 hour concierge. Also can you cover areas near Greenwich Park, this area has a mixture of newbuilds, and Georgian properties. So stunning 😍

Not enough lighting also dark dismal and very grey

Not fond of any house where Matt has to tuck his head. I get that for old properties but I don’t expect that for a new build. What is up with the low height builds in the UK?

Places need to stop being marketed by the travel time to London, this one would be 2hrs of commuting every day, and that is assuming you work right on top of St Pancras. That's no way to live.

From someone who lives in Market Harborough: These places are way overpriced. No gardens, no garages and awful views. The main place (3 beds and car port), has been for sale for some 3 years (and now with a second agent).

Way to dark no outside space

That show gaff looks dated, the interior design is 🤮

WTF is that ensuite in the master - terrible design

Didn’t like the first property, seems a bit all over the place. Bad interior choices and looks a bit dark, gloomy and cramped in places. Also in the second property I don’t like bedrooms on the ground floor.

I'd strongly not recommend buying in MH. Most of the town is not that nice, especially around the town centre. It's very rough around the edges. Apart from food shopping, there really is not much there to get your wallet out for. The stuff sold in the indoor market is mostly fit for charity shops! Old rubbish.The council has let the town go down hill. Nearly all public grass verges are just full of dog muck and weeds. It's not a pretty town and the landscape is messy and unkept with overgrown bushes and nettles dominating where flytipping is common. For 700k! You can buy something nice in a better location in London for that. It won't be as big, of course, but houses for 700k are in the nicer parts on the outskirts. Inner London is only for the very rich! 700k for a property in a messy small town? To be honest, even the rough parts of London had some cleaner parts! Only a fool would buy a property for 700k there.

Why master bedroom should go out with the bath water. Instead use principal or Primary bedroom. The word master is old. Like, really old. Forms of it crop up in early Old English, hundreds of years before slave traders brought Africans to the Americas. To be sure, enslaved people had to refer to their owners as “master” even before the dawn of the American slave trade, and so did many women when referring to their husbands. Condemn master for its sexism too . 👍🏽😃
