    Guys, what can I say. You've outdone yourselves. This has to be one of the best properties you've shown thus far. I'm all for 'Eco Properties', especially saving increasing costs on utility bills, and sustainability. It's now more important than ever to protect the environment. Thanks for showing this type of property. Hopefully they'll be more like this. Thanks again guys. 👍🏾💖

    I love everything about this property! The colour scheme, the layout, the eco sustainability. Gorgeous. My one pet peeve is when houses like this advocate to being wheelchair friendly with a ramp but then have stairs and no lift. You can come in your house... you just can’t sleep in a bed or use the shower.

    I LOVE it! This is the first house on this channel that I would 100% go for if it was in my area and a bit more within our budget. Funnily enough I had commented with a checklist for my ideal house a few videos back and this one *ticks every box* (except for fitted wardrobes, but that's obviously due to the cool option of moveable walls which is quite clever)! Well done Matt & Summer for covering all sorts of properties - you guys are awesome!

    Great video! Absolutely love the eco house, right up my street. I think the developers have omitted something important, especially in eco homes. They have not included any built in external window blinds. This is a great shame as these massive windows will allow the house to get extremely hot (even with super insulation levels). External window blinds are essential to keep the house at a comfortable level at all times.

  • @enlilw-l2

    @enlilw-l2

    You're absolutely right, normally all eco houses should have external automatic blinds that close themselves when sun is hitting the window in summertime. At least in my country it's always like that. Very odd !

I appreciate the accessible ramp and the prospect of a lift to the second floor. Wondering how I would maneuver my wheelchair through the gravel leading up to the ramp. Not a big deal as it could be smoothed out to accommodate if needed. You both do a wonderful job at presenting these properties.

House has a huge chimney purposely built for this but also MVHR system 🙈😬 Architects/owners/small builders never liaise with plumbing/heating engineers until it’s too late far too often .

    Can I just say as a mother of a child in a wheelchair who is beautiful, capable, and just differently-abled, it brings me to happy tears that there are developers who are finally thinking this way in the 21st century. To make homes sustainable AND universally accessible as a STANDARD! ( or at least creating a room for a lift next to the stairway 🥲 with a ramp at the front and extra wide doorways) It’s in law for it to be that way for most public buildings, and it’s finally moving that way for playgrounds (play is a universal RIGHT for children). And now FINALLY it’s moving that way for private homes too!! And even if its not for love of a differently-abled family friend or neighbor, do it for yourself in prep for older age!! Sorry I just wasn’t expecting to see that, I’m so pleased! FYI though, just ditch the gravel leading up to the ramp though 😅 that’s sinking sand for wheelchairs. Can’t move over that stuff!

I think it's a mistake - if there was only this one plot possible to acquire they should have gone with one big house, or four smaller ones (again planning probably decided this wasn't an option). Two houses overlooking each other in such a location, with room out the back to have noisy animals - just imagine if you got nightmare neighbours!

    I am sorry but I am not convinced with the layout downstairs. Although there are nice big windows letting lots of natural light it, the low ceilings are a big let down. Also the Kitchen looks quite small and having that breakfast table is kind of an overkill. Would have preferred that space opened up. Upstairs was a lot better but its sad that only 1 bedroom was ensuite. The best bit was the back garden, so much space - it was lovely.
