Been here since day one (season 1) and my favourite couple from season 1 was Luyanda and Lebo, like you said they are so true to themselves and my favorites from season 2 were Tebello and Bafana, guys the friendship! Was looking forward to the same set up ka season 3 but ei! Life! Covid ! I’ve been meaning to watch this for a while. I love Brendan’s analogy of same floor. I’ve been married for 10 yrs & I’m not the person I was when we started & neither is hubby so I know how important it is to grow together. From the onset, we instilled the practice of “honestly reflecting together about all aspects of our lives annually (on our anniversary). We started it on our honeymoon so we’ve kept it to our anniversary. It’s a non-judgemental space where the one is given the opportunity to express themselves (what they need & what the other needs to keep doing, stop doing & start doing). It’s not always easy but it helps us to check in & readjust expectations.

Wow! You guys have conquered marriage. The point you touched on of checking in and the other partner not thinking is a personal attack is 💯. Couples that are "working" may become their worst enemies if they are not intentional about chrcking in. You guys are a blessing to many of us 🙏🏼.
