That car with those miles usually sell for around what he paid for it. We bought 2 Flying Spurs(one clean title and one salvage title) with damage for $13,000 each. Videos are on my channel.

I think this is awesome. It’s exactly what I do for a full-time living just not with cars. I was able to “retire” by the age of 40

Guys, this isnt an easy job! They were all new cars in the auction. The only thing I repeated was buying the Bentley. Your comments like this make it discouraging to invest this much time into producing content

It's been clear for a while that you are not shooting and editing yourself anymore, good choice. You make money by making video, not shooting and editing, farm that stuff out.

Would I be correct in saying that by watching this episode, you are emphasizing your point on specialization? Of course, with a dealership, you want to cater to all the major markets. But you seemed a lot more confident with the usual auction than the classic car one. The difference here would be catering to the classic car market (possible big payouts) and the general market (safe option).

Drove those cars, back at my dealership days.

Watching Hoovies channel, I’ve learned to steer clear of used, unknown Bentleys.

You know, a car like that seems to sell for 35-37,000 dollars with that mileage, the problem with this car however is that every little thing is 5-10k repairs wise, and I see these sitting for sale for 6-8 months before often showing up at auction. The car has insane mileage for a w12 engine, it's hard to sell bentleys to begin with and if anything goes wrong before you can get it sold, it can easily lose you money. It's definitely a risky choice.

agreed, out of the cars there i seen on the video, i wouldnt of gotten this bentley. Very niche market for the older ones. Old tech, high miles, repairs are coming for it.

Bentley W12 absolute fantastic car. Though looks like there is a suspension issue on the right front and if so, the suspension is rather expensive on these cars. Don't look like it is the pump as the rear seems ok, but the air suspension in front is most likely done. But good luck, hope I am not right. Ohh and hopefully the engine is ok. Know they had some issues with the w12 in the charged

I was wondering! I kept saying to myself the entire time I was watching, "I feel like I have watched all of this before....". Then i proceeded to check the comments like 100x throughout the video to see If I was the only one who was losing their fn mind. But im glad to see a day later that I'm not the only one. There is at least one more, and for that sir, I thank you!

The front suspension is a little too low. Air lines may have a leak or struts are starting to go bad. You forgot to raise and lower the suspension by hitting the button and twisting the big knob under the GPS screen. Overall, it's a great car.

It's great story. I've come into the series a big late. And so I've seen this car around. But lately when you raised the open question of what does a Ferrari on a red flag look like, actually But that helps a lot to to properly start to feel and callibrate the whole thing of this "new business". Part of getting a Ferrari that would be a big win - to have zero depreciation snd effectively zero cost of ownership over one or two years. But, with part of your overall capital working efficently for you. So, I think this is a great car, and a really good step in learning.

Push comes to shove, you can contact Royalty Auto in Las Vegas. They buy used exotic cars including Bentleys all the time.

*Like i told you last week when you were considering buying this thing. it's a niche market for this car and i wasn't even aware it had 100.000 miles on it. you'll need to find someone in the south somewhere and make sure to advertise it as a "Southern" car so everyone knows there is no rust involved but even then it's going to be a hard sell. Mostly because of the W 12*

This my friend is why a floorplan is not always bad. With a company I know I could pay the auction with their money. Pay it off within 3 days and pay 35$ problems solved and with no fees or costs to have. It can sit idle just incase situations like this arrive.
