Personally I think if you love the car that much, then keep it. What you can do is give yourself the amount that you put into the car to spend on the next car. Just say that the car was sold (but you “sold” it to yourself) and move on with whatever you have into it plus the $6k you already had. You get to keep the car and the series continues. It’s a win-win

I think exacly the same way.

when you can buy a 30K mile example with a OEM windshield for sub $40,000 ,it's tough to get people to bite on a 115K mile for anywhere near $34K

I was JUST going to say that. If you love it so much why not simply "buy" it from the ferrari flip and enjoy it. I think he's got add when it comes to cars though, cant' stand to have them on his hands for any length of time...lol. Case in point: I've had it for quite some time...yeah, a month? 6 weeks? I've had my truck for 7 years lol.

After watching the Bently repairs on Hoovies garage you couldn't give me a Bently.

You’re right this guy is full of crap…there are not any parts available for this car the manufacturer has closed down and let the factory in dust, so you’re being buying a car that you can’t get parts for ha ha ha

Yeah Craig, it's gonna be tough to sell that Bentley for a fair price in New Hampshire in the winter during a pandemic and a gasoline shortage. I'd enjoy using it for myself for a while, and then sell it in Los Angeles in the Spring. Still the best-looking coupe out there.

Drag that overly expensive VW to palm beach FL auction on a 4 car trailer, sell it for whatever, have a S Florida vacation and buy 4 rust free vehicles to take home that will actually turn a profit.

That honda is worth 8k retail all day everyday, the dealers can't even get a new fury right now!!! Great score on some inexpensive inventory!

One lesson in all of this is adaptability. Sometimes you have to pivot. Get that $6k to work and sit on the Bentley until something makes sense for it. You're in a little deep on it, but the market is going your way. Eventually it will work out.

You could sell the Bentley at another specialty public auction (not dealer). people at ordinary dealer auto auctions aren't going to want to pay full retail price on any car. it also might be worth waiting for tax refund season to sell it.

Should just be a matter of holding the button up till you hear a slight pop. Your hook up at the Porsche/Audi dealership should be able to take care of it in no time if you can’t get I done on your own.

You should take the family on vacation to Florida in the Bentley and try selling it at a dealer auction in south Florida. You see a lot of Bentley and other expensive cars in the Fort Myers and Naples area. Maybe try listing it on the Fort Myers Facebook marketplace or other Florida cities

love the Bentley and you could stop right there... but I also like seeing you flip cheaper cars... so maybe see what you can do with the cash until you have 2 cars that you can sell for a Ferrari

Hey Craig, Im a wholesale dealer who does mostly bikes and Powersports. That fury you bought has a Clean NADA book of $9200. So retail is actually gonna be closer to 11,500. Or you could quick flip it or send it to NPA (national Powersports auction) in Philly being the closest one to you and probably get 8000+ right now or 8700+ in 2-3 months. Great buy!

Yep. Everything on it is a million dollars to repair. The reason theydepreciate so fast after 100k miles is the unfortunate truth that they EAT money like crazy. Figure on 10 grand a year. Ouch.

Would you have luck wholesaling to a dealer that specializes in higher end cars? Like the one right next to the auction - although they seem to only have white cars!

Hey hey now, that Saab is gonna be a diamond in the rough. Vert in the winter isn't the best ride but saabs hold up well for their age. Got 4 in the family now.

Worked for Manheim Auto auction has a wholesaler buy 50 or 60 cars and sat on them till tax time ran them back through made a "Bundle" of cash.

How do you think through parts and maintenance for a Saab? I have been thinking about getting one as I have always wanted one but am concerned about getting parts for it. I know many of the GM parts in the later years are interchangeable but the good years (read, Pre-2006), not so much.

Carmax can be really weird about video though from what I’ve seen on other car channels

How much is the asking price?

You and your mom could drive the Bentley to California at 10% over the speed limit and sell it the same way as the Taycan. RIch folks don't want a daily driver that's 17 model years old. Certainly nobody with their own jet would. But maybe some Netjets types would consider it as a spare car for use by their LLC's summer-home guests in the Hamptons, Bar Harbor, or Jackson Hole. Maybe just keep it and lease it for the summer in Laconia or Bar Harbor, Florida in the winter, and drive it yourself spring and fall. But it could become a money pit without warning, so probably best to just wholesale it to a luxury car dealer around breakeven, and have a trucker pick it up. Failed experiment at making money on it, despite it being a truly expensive car to build, not just a name badge like a lot of Maseratis, Jags, etc.

Poor people with bad credit buying a w8 is a recipe for disaster. It’ll end up under a tree, behind a house with no siding, a lawn mower salvage yard, and cats living under the porch because of an unaffordable mechanical problem.

A lot of times I avoid buying certain cars, becasue of the potential idiots it is going to attract. People just asking if it's available or offering stupid money. Take that Bentley to Manheim or Adesa a week in advance so it has exposure online before the sale. Put it on OVE as well.

Sell that Bentley , even if you lose a bit of money . As a luxury car , a 05 just doesn't hold value as a 2010/2015 Bentley. At this point is fairly old and who wants a Luxury car won't really go for a car of that age, in my humble opinion .

That 2000 Accord Coupe is one of the best-looking cars Honda ever made, especially the tail lights. It's one of my favorites. It'll be great once the body is fixed up and repainted. Be aware, however, that ALL Accords of this generation suffer from premature automatic transmission failures, especially those with a V-6. There have been recalls, etc., in the past.

That accord is a baby! 67k!? Sheesh. I’ve seen someone take theirs over 270k miles. Plus what it has under the hood is a benefit.

Sold the car I loved in September...still upset about it. Keep the Bentley until you're tired of it. I miss people giving me props everywhere I took it. Nothing like a Bentley...a well cared for 05 white Mustang premium convertible. Completely stock.

I have owned 3 Saturns. One v6 and two four bangers. They are marvelous cars. Never a single issue. All 3 were over 250k miles.

You have to recalibrate the windows and they will all close. They are all one-touch up/down

i posted in your first or second video that the car isent worth 29k that you have in to it, that mileage on that car is a headache if something goes wrong, yea it was 200k new but so where a bunch of other cars that are now only worth 20k that was the worst purchase if you thought you would make money on it

My mom had a Saturn back in the day for a beater it was a reliable car.

I love the channel, but overpaid for the bentley 100%, the mileage is insanely high to pay almost 30,000 USD for it plus all your time and money here and there(gas) etc. In canada where i am from, you can easily get 100,000-120,000KM 2004-2005 bentleys for under 40,000 Canadian, heck they show up on Kijiji even lol.
