Nothing ? This is not true in any interpretation of this word. You and I are of Divine in its origine because once there existed only the Divine and when the creation started everything developed from the Divine matter and all forms of life including us. Some want to enter into nothingness, Nirwana. Hm, after some time this nothingness must be full and in my thoughts I bring them out and tell them to do some useful work .

You are not nothing because your consciousness actually creates the entire universe. It is the measurement problem in Quantum Mechanics. It requires a conscious observer. So when you are not looking at something , it does not exist. Only things you observe come into existence. Still you are the person required to bring the whole universe into existence, just by looking at it. These are not just some whimsical ideas. this is the basis of physics. like transistors, computers, and your LCD screen. They are all made possible because of Quantum Mechanics. Einstein did not like Quantum Mechanics and said famously that " I can't fathom that the moon does not exist if I don't look at it". But is turns out it is true. When you don't look at something , it ceases to exist. Read up on quantum mechanics and the measurement problem. A tree that falls in the forest really does not make a sound if there is no one listening. Futhermore if no one is watching the forest ,then it does not exist. More than that , this person watching the forest has to be you.

Be careful with summaries, because you also miss many of his important pieces of wisdom. In our society, there are those who say, "Question everything." However, when they say it, it is because they believe something other than what is being said. They question because they do not want to hear what you are saying. They question because they cannot trust what you are saying. They already have their own preconceived ideas about what you are saying. In the end, because of their questioning of everything, they are only stupider. Sadhguru just taught us many things to think about so that we don’t have to think about who created us. It is preferable to identify and become one with this force of creation that also exist right within us with every breath we take and every food we eat. In all honesty I’d rather experience life than to sit and think about how I got it. Wisdom in volumes.

There is nothing to love my friend. That is because he is full of doubt, confusion and contradictions. Truth stands clear from error. If he believed in what he was uttering he would not have said yes or no, instead, he would have said, I don't know which makes him an agnostic. Yet he takes positions as if he is master of universe. An agonistic who is in doubt is going to teach us how to be make decisions which should not have iota of doubt makes no sense.

Truth or morality does not change from time to time place to place or people to people. People change. For example, women liberation. I have yet to meet an American father who pats her daughter for wearing provocative clothing. Yet often those very dads blow whistles when looking at a pretty woman. Would you like your wife, daughter, sister or mother to decorate different man's bed frequently? Give me a perspective on that. There isn't one other than clear and firm NO! Unless your mind is diseased. How about cigarette smoking? Drugs/narcotics? Alcohol? Is there a chance an alcoholic MAY hurt your loved one in a driving accident? And list goes on and on. Like I said, Truth stands clear from error! I meant no disrespect my friend. My sight will never look at a woman with the intentions of checking her out because they are someone's daughter, sister, wife, or mother. Who taught me that? One thing is for sure, it was NOT "There are so many perspectives and angles" ideology.

@@kewlbeans9905 there is no such thing as absolute truth, what you are talking about is your perspective that you have developed in your growth as a human being (which involves many factors such as where you were born how you were brought up and your surroundings) which happens to be in aligned with human morality, what is moral today might not be moral("truth") centuries from now, but one thing that is universal is life itself, it exist, you see it, feel it, what sadhguru is trying to explain is one need to pay attention to life itself to know about the creator or the life functioning within you.

@@kewlbeans9905 let's take an example, we will talk about your analogy that you would never have intentions of checking out a women because it's someone's daughter, wife and so on, but if you have a sound mind and you do not identify with anything, any analogy would you have second thoughts about a women that you are looking at? no! because you would not have any perception of - "I am looking at that women for only to check her out", you would just look at her as a piece of life just like you, not anything else.

@@Mira-gu6we every answer is right before us. We just need to start believing what our eyes show us. It's both scary and beautiful definitely worth the journey. I listen to a few spiritual leaders of different faiths. Rabbi Manis Friedman has very similar ideas. Definitely worth a listen.

There's a really a big difference between knowing and thinking aligned with what you know.

Obviously he doesn't follow his own philosophy, by saying that something created ant, or you. Problem solved, no need to explore any further. I know since 6th grade that ant and all living things evolved from less complex life. Sorry I can't give you lecture in bilology about the process of evolution of life on our planet. It would take hours and lot of computer ink..

All my questioning in my life led me to philosophy in which I never knew what a philosopher was at the time. And then I found happiness I said these guys think like I do I am now 81 years old and I'm still asking questions.😍 I came up with if Humanity can no longer ask a question to the given answer Humanity will then find the TRUTH or at least more acceptable than what we believe now.

If we even knew a minuscule fraction, we would be humbled by how much we didn’t know but the ironic thing is we don’t even know that fraction. Sadghuru didn’t give such a straight forward answer like by quoting any “books” references, but he did enlighten and show the way how could we possibly understand the nature of creation through meditation (by giving enough attention) 🙏🏼

For me,learning from this it seems in order to know the creator,you have to seek it and pay more attention. I believe and I have to rely on faith.

Your wisdom Sadghuru made my psychological problems go away. I have attended many sessions of counseling but in vain. Thank you so much for everything.

Watch his other videos, he does this all the time. He never answers any question in a simple & straight forward way. After everyone nodded along and applauding, he revealed how he can say the most stupidest of things in a manner with one or two facts added to make it seem like he so intelligently answered. The fact was he answered nothing about the subject, neither was he an expert. Seeing this guy answer was a great example of that same incident.

Everything he said is so true even i've noticed and can relate to this what he is saying.

He speaks so clear and simple...I can listen to this man speak all day lol

this is the best answer one could have given to make us understand that you have only two options , either to believe what someone tells you or to go explore on your own. Accept what you do not know as you don't know. Don't accept anything blindly. First , experience it yourself and then decide what you think about it.

The goal is not to know but to be open to the endless possibilities. For an empty cup or bowl is best useful when it's empty. 🔱

Reminds me of that quote that goes something like, The more you know, the more you realize you don't know. But I think that applies to seekers and adventurous because others stay in a rigid system and are extremely resistant to new ideas and possibilities or even facts.

I believe if you know everything than there is no growth for learning .. also the conversation becomes boring because you heard it ALL.Sadhguru has lots of wisdom and logic .. he thinks out of the box and captivates his audience and his humorous too ..

Yes. Paying attention to facts is the key here. If you pay attention to it, you will know facts best possibly. Because, the best optimum way to seek facts opens the door for the truth about the fact. The important fact of that thing being that you see what you don't know as what you don't know. Because, it takes self courage to say yourself you don't know what you don't know.

Sadhguru's answer is that whether true or not God had created us is not important, because unless we had experienced "God" or the source of creation within us we will end up as a confident believer who will take it for granted of what other people or scriptures had said. A yogi like him does not believe in God but seek for the Source of Creation within himself.

I am one ignorant person who is trying to love everything I see. Blessings to all on earth and in the universe. We need to re-assess the concept of GOD on earth, it's beautiful to see many people awakening and re-assessing our evolution story and DNA modification since the beginning of time to really become aware on how and why mankind was created. Much love and gratitude.

We can't begin to try and understand The Most High, but He did give us the mindset to innately know right from wrong within our spirit which is eternal....
