OSHO: There Is No Creator

Ойын-сауық

You say there is no god - are you saying that there is no god outside of creation, per se?
"Certainly I am saying that there is no creator. Creation itself is enough unto itself; it needs no outside agency to create it. The moment you accept an outside agency to create it, you fall into a vicious circle. Because the reasoning is that how can existence be there without being created by someone? That is the reasoning of all the religions." Osho

in different religions they talk about God, but everything revolves around the same - unique, omnipotent, omniscient - some religions characterize him differently, but the essence that we can find in the bible does not change the bible says : 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 ''For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” John 3:12 ''If you have no belief when my words are about the things of earth, how will you have belief if my words are about the things of heaven?'' human wisdom is vain compared to God and unable to understand the things that God did, does and will do God bless you

thats why we have Brains. The movie Lord of the ring is a true story happened on earth, only not involving humans....before us things where reveled Angles came and fought on earth. Satan himself was a leader on earth who defeated evil and then went heavens. Despite all this, all those creature before us didn't believe in God, and did very bad, and killed each other. Hence came Humans as the finest God creature so far, so humble to submit to God. Has the best mechanism ever to recognize God (the brain). Thier life itself is a guide to God. Our ups and down, made us search for God. those were before us, were given the ultimate power with no downs, hence they thought they are Gods. people only don't believe in God, when they are strong or so they think. Pharaoh was said he never being ill for straight 40 years, and given the best body and look, and so god make those who don't believe in him to reach thier ultimate power before he bring them down on thier knees.

Because if you do - then you will have to invoke something else to explain who or what created God - and then the question becomes an endless loop. Those who say God needs no creation because "he" is God automatically dig themselves into the same hole - because if God needs no creator then the universe needs no creator either.

@@teppo9585 Why would you get the full explanation of existence from any other fellow that exists afterward that wasn't informed of it either? The plain truth is we don't know how reality has come to exist, or at least I sure don't. We can only guess using accumulated knowledge that may never point us in a definitive direction. Religion, among other things like Science in a different way, is filling the gap of the unknown with some semblance of knowing. However, in religion's case when the explanation is contingent on "this supernatural entity is maybe real since it explains what I don't know, so they gotta be real" that cannot be verified one way or the the other then that's a problem that cannot be justified with a degree of certainty. Science is merely speculating what's not known with certainty in this regard using what is which may be subject to change, while Religions asserts to know with certainty how it happened because a holy book told them so - even though the link to God through that book cannot be verified, so it's accepted as true through credulity.

yes you can "prove" things, but proof is bound by rules of logic that you have to understand b4 you can conclude anything,,,,you can only prove something is true or false if you ASSUME something beforehand that cant be proven, its a "given" agreed upon,,,,,,like "if",,,"then",,,,,,,you cant ever prove the IF,,,,it may not be there in the first place, but assuming its there, and you follow logical steps, you can prove wheither your deduction is true or false,,,,,,"proofs" do not always correspond to whether something exists or not, those things you cant always prove even if they are indeed there,,,,,,, but you can prove whether a statement about something is true or false, IF you agree to assume already that it DOES exist,,,,,,,,,,whether it exists or not is not the point to a logician, its whether you can prove your statement about it are true or not, whether your statements about it are valid,,,,,,,they usually arent,,,,when pp talk about god they arent following the laws of proof to prove it,,,,,,they are just stating god exists and of course they cant prove it does, instead of asking IF god existed, could it be possible to exist, or possible to prove it? the answer s no, not the way ppl have defined "god",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and you cant prove something exists until you define the word "exist",,,,,,,,,,,

I feel the question is the problem in itself. The moment we try to answer what we cannot understand (possibly) we also create the answer, meaning we are creating our own reality appart from God. I can perfectly relate to what he is saying, but I can also accept that we simply cannot understand what the answer might be. Therefore faith and trust in a divine loving beeing is an important element for me apart from a logical explanation.
