Another Philosopher who denies existence of a higher power, thats his opinion but it remains that. If we created God the question remains, who created us? The theory of evolution is not sufficient as it also remains just that a theory not truth of fact. scientific advancement today point to the existence of a Grand design, that a great architect created what we know today as life.

Osho is very gifted person, giving very important massage to human being, but most people afraid of his influence and western government afraid of him too, if you carefully listen to what he said will know he said nothing harmful to people

i just realized that osho is working through silence , for so long i have only been hearing the words .

What Osho is saying is very liberating, and you can see why the organised religions wouldn't want this message to get around.

I don't know what was there at the beginning but as he said silence my eyes got closed and just touched the drop of silence it was amazing. I think silence has very important role in spiritual journey if there is any. :)

There is a misunderstanding here. The phrase" in the beginning there was the word" derives from the translation from Greek. In Greek it is written that in the beginning there was λόγος "logos". "Logos" in Greek has several meanings. It can be the word but it is also the analogy, in the sense of the divine order. The Ancient Greeks say that in the beginning there was chaos and then order began to shape. Osho says it differently. In the beginning there was silence.Right after, Osho unveils the profoundness , stating that there was no beginning, and this is why we love him ...

The thing I dont like about certain religions is as soon as you question their teachings they get mad at you and say “thats how it is!” If you aren’t allowed to question then of course they’re trying to hide something from you.

For the sake of historical accuracy, I feel I must clarify ; the greek text writes "en arche een o Logos". The word arche has three meanings. One, of course, is beginning, the others are "principle" and "authority". Same with the word "Logos", it is possible it refers to the act of speaking, but it can also mean "reason", both as "cause" and as "logic". So, yes, one acceptable translation would be "in the beginning there was the word", but if we try a translation like "in principle, there was the Cause", or "there was only one authority, and that was Logic", then the statement becomes much more profound. I am sure Osho knew about all this, though, but he had to address the misunderstanding at its root.
