A quick demo of prepping and tacking together a welding test plate.
This is a standard set-up for groove welds to certify a welder for various positions. This particular plate was then welded with NR232, .072 flux core wire in the 3-G position (vertical weld). This set- up is used on 3/8" to 1 " test plates. Dave
