    Great video, I just wanted to touch on the pressure part. I used to refill these kegs for my homebrew, on the end the ball is just held in there with a flat spring steel clamp that you can CAREFULLY remove with two flathead screwdrivers and then the ball connection and whole spear comes out thus relieving all the pressure. Inspiring build though I may have to source some materials for this

    Cut a little on the outside of your lines. The plasma cutter will burn the metal and you'll need to grind back into good stainless afterwards

    Cut off wheel is better. Stainless doesn’t like the oxygen in the air and has really hard dross that eats up abrasives. Cut off wheel makes a nice clean cut.

    It cuts it with just a little more needed amps. But like these guys said, you’ll need to grind the dross off to weld it

    you should be able to cut stainless with ease with a plazma cutter.

    308 MIG wire? Should be 309 for welding carbon to stainless steel

    You’re lucky that ring didn’t blow up in ya face. Any time you work with kegs you need to properly remove the stem before cutting/welding on it. They can be pressurized relatively significantly.
