Not only did his song call out the internet as a whole, but did it so cleverly. On the surface, its a catchy and funny song, but once you dig deep it sounds like the ending theme of a Disney movie where the villain won.

They pretty much all work better in context much better than alone. Or, at least I’ll say that once you’ve seen the context they hold up on their own much better. Such a great comedy special.
The Bo rabbit hole goes deep, I hope you're ready! If you're doing more, I'd recommend starting with stuff from his special 'What', followed by his special 'Make Happy', and finally stuff from where this video came from, his special 'Inside'. Inside was a big deal because after Make Happy, Bo took 5 years to himself to learn how to better handle his anxiety from performing among other things. It's up to you guys if you want to watch the entire specials or just pick up the best songs from each, I'm sure people will comment telling you which ones are their favs.

I absolutely agree. Start with songs from What, then from Make Happy. Have in mind when you watch "Kanye Rant" from Make Happy that it was his final appearance before disappearing for 5 years from depression. Then jump into Inside, it will all make sense.

My best description of this song is that it's "Sensory Overload" the song
Watched this video a million times and just noticed that when he's doing the anything and everything the first time. If you watch the shadows of the tables and equipment on the walls, they are subtly bouncing with the music, but when he stops and slows down, they go completely static. Just thought it was a neat attention to detail. Unless it was just a quirk of the camera focusing with the animated backdrop.
Saw this channel for the Bo. Keep going 👍👍

I love this reaction. The guy tried acting funny and laughing like a typical youtube reactionist, but especially at the end you can see that he actually understands the song, understands how much he is a part of what Bo is mocking and you can actually see fear in his eyes when, through the Bo's song, he sees the internet entertainment machine for what it really is, if only for a couple of seconds.

I’m sure a million comments have told you tons about Bo (or they will), but one point I’ll reiterate is that while all of his songs stand well on their own and it makes sense to react to them as songs because of the format, there are elements that get lost if you take them in outside of the specials. He meticulously and purposefully orchestrates every second of his specials. Perfect example: People will recommend you watch All Eyes On Me, from the same special as this. You should, but be aware that it’s also a sequel to the last song from his previous special, “Can’t Handle This (Kanye Rant).” Both of those are probably the most often cited as his best work so far. So if you do those first, you’ll still enjoy everything else, but it might diminish the experience for you. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

As probably many people have said already in these comments, Bo Burnham is actually classified as a comedian that uses music as his outlet. Though I would say his "comedy" is more thought provoking and commentary on current societal issues. This piece is from his Netflix special called "inside" which was made in his home during the main outbreak of coved, as a way for him to do another show after the 5year break he took for his mental health. I'm glad to see you guys enjoy this and hope you end up checking out more of his work, wether it be from this specific special or early ones. Though I will say most go from this to "all eyes on me." Which touches on his mental health issue. If you do go with that next you should probably watch the "Kanye rant (can't handle this right now)" as it helps define both his character and comedy that he plays on stage as well as his inner demons. If you guy read this, thanks for reading! hope you guys have a great day! ^•^

If you like that, i'm sure you'd appreciate Tim Minchin with his Confession and Prejudice.
I know it's only marginally related, but I would recomend the song "Ad infinitum," by Stupendium, a fan song about an undertale character made specifically with the intent of being okay to watch with or without having played the game. That being said, I think both undertale and delta rune are amazing games and worth playing one day. I say marginally related because the song is a jab at the internet in general, but more specifically advertisement.
