Glad your back Tom! A few years ago my wife and I started traveling full time around North America in our van. About a year ago I was really missing a creative outlet and stumbled across your older videos. I started carving spoons out of wood local to the region we were in. It’s the perfect hobby for the nomadic minimalist with limited space! Thanks for the inspiration! I tell our subscribers who ask about my new hobby to check you out! Looking forward to the new videos! Thank you.😉

Hello Tom, welcome back! Although I am just recently a new subscriber to you, I loved your older videos. In fact I am half way through making your sharpening jig with sandpaper. Your videos have influenced me very much in my new found hobby and has been a great help in learning new skills and ideas especially when it comes to caring for tools. Your videos have even helped me to design my own carving knife which I will be making next month. Many thanks and keep them coming. Also Tom.🤣

Hi Tom - was just looking for your old vid of how to axe out a spoon blank - do you still have it up somewhere or have you done a more recent equivalent? cheers, Hugh.

What happened to your old videos? I watched a number of them and I was hoping to watch a few more of them and they all seem to be gone now :( Anyway, looking forward to new ones. Keep up the fantastic work.

Same here. I actually was looking at watching some of them again as I just acquired an axe but only the sharpening video are left. I am all for new and better videos but is it possible to put the old ones back up until the new ones are ready. I have to say there are several other spoon carvers with tutorials on KZread but I liked your videos best.

Agreed. I just recommended you to someone beginning spooncarving only to find all your old videos gone. If you don't have a new replacement in the wings, please don't remove the old ones. Good content is hard to come by and we all learn a little differently. What you judge to be inadequate or outdated may be the perfect thing for hundreds of others. I made my best spoon several years ago using instructions from one of your vids.
