Hello and warmest greetings from Michigan USA, Mr. Bradley. As a hopeless Anglophile these last precious few minutes spent with you, sir, have been nothing less than audible heroin. I'm entranced by this idea of yours which you explain is merely an extension of an age-old habit. The possibility of entertaining, enriching, enlightening and emboldening nearly limitless literature-starved masses on social media by your wonderful habit is mind-boggling. (And frankly the masses were starving long before the internet. I will promote your audio books, and this You Tube platform on FB, to spread the word.) After the promise of this evening's reading I am already completely addicted by your presence, your voice, your eagerness, and your choice of literature on this, your maiden voyage. You have me completely spellbound..what a wonderful string of days and nights we all have to look forward to, joining you in your home once again, listening raptly, drinking in the atmosphere and devouring every beautifully spoken word of Ms Shelley - and all those who follow. Thank you, thank you.🏆

Love the idea of a bedtime story from Doug Bradley, reading Frankenstein. Brilliant novel, and poignant reflection on loneliness and feeling outcast as far as I'm concerned. I've just watched your first video with my little hedgehog, Amaterasu, and even she was mesmerised by your voice. :) love your photographs, posters and models too. I still remember meeting you many moons ago, at a convention in London, and begging you to come to Liverpool to Forbidden Planet. Can't wait to see more. Thankyou Doug. 😊

Audiobooks don't replace reading for oneself, at least for some, but I think it augments it. Don't apologize for "winging it" and taking time to do things. It is generous of you to do this. As for Frankenstien, I can't remember when I was first introduced to it, but I remember seeing the images of the films and some TV, but if I'm honest, the first version I saw was a heavily watered down children's version on the TV show, "Wishbone". As for the book, your right, as far as I have learned so far, few if any have faithfully retold the story as Mary Shelley wrote. Lastly, as a suicide survivor, I don't condone suicide of any sort.
