The fact that Wei Ying's resentment and anger didn't attack Jiangcheng and the other apprentices from their sect should have been enough for him to know and believe that he didn't kill her sister. Because why would Wei Ying kill his sister when he treats the two of them as his real siblings. I just feel bad for Wei Ying here.

Once Wei was distracted he stopped focusing on the battle/the second flute sound that started to control his puppets. Yes, she saved his life but she also gave that evil little turd the opportunity to dig a bigger hole for Wei. It's sad that nobody questioned clan leader Jin's motives at this time.

Not gonna lie, the music that wei ying plays with chenqing is quite scary. Gives off demonic and evil vibes, but I love it ❤️

It always bothers me they added another music on top of the flute. For me the flute alone did a much better job at setting the tone of the scene and showing how scary Wei Ying could be.

More realistically it's distrust from prejudice. Not Arrogance or Self Confidence. We disturbingly live in a world where a lot of people (often narcassistic and abusive) get confused over/or project those things into their attempted victims because victims react back in the exampled way (because they know the other person's behaivor is toxic, predatory, and fucked up), and usally they do it in a more calm mature manner (which is labelled as the first example you gave). People eventually need to realise that often it's just victims being fed up and choosing to rise above people's 'BS' (which can be seen by their body langauge and behaivor). Else you end up looking like a monster to some people, while also looking like an actual arrogant child that can't comprehensively pick up on why there behaivor would have that affect on others in such a way.

I havent in this part yet,buttt he's look hurt,he's sad,he had enough of everything. Why cant u all see that😭😭😭😭

My opinion: Igo for Wuxian... One error of this scene, never rush in any battle. Choose wisely for the moment to strike. WHY Yanlin rush into the battle field without a sword!? Even just for props she could have vrought a sword to dend for herself One of my drama teacher always remind us to be realistic even in making stories. The position 9f the character, and the things used. Viewers nowadays are observant Bottom line is kong xie ni for everyone from the writer, director, actors and actresses, The storyline is superb, even without rumours, wuxian and Lan Zhan can stand out 😘🤩😘 GREAT JOB GUYS....

If WWX wanted justice, he should have done something about it BEFORE the invitation to LLJ. He had a couple of years for it. He knew perfectly well that JGS was after the YHF, he know perfectly well that while he himself could barely control it, anyone could work the YHF. WWX should have had a contingency plan for getting the Wens off the Burial Mounds, at least for A-Yuan, if for no one else. After the disaster at Qiongqi Path, could this very righteous speech have affect anyone in the scene? Could it have change things for anyone? Could it have save anyone? No. Instead of going to Nightless City to make this utterly useless speech, when it was already too late for anything, he should have been thinking about how to preserve the lives of the Wens still alive at the Burial Mounds, first of all - of A-Yuan. Shoving A-Yuan into the hollow of a tree almost three months later the massacre during the first Siege of the BM, instead doing something to at least get the baby out before the Siege, was no contingency plan, no guarantee that A-Yuan would survive.

Sorry but none of them were righteous. They were all deceived by the evil Jin clan leader and his son. They killed an entire family to provoke Wei/to justify killing him. In their eyes they have every right to attack Wei....but they expect him not to defend himself. The archer got exactly what he deserved...Wei wanted to be left alone to live his life in peace....but evil Jin clan leader wanted yin tiger amulet so he turned Wei into a villain that needed to be stopped.

I can't belive that noone believed him. He is an honest person, he would admit to doing those things if he actually did. His brother and the ones that got to truly know him would know that. They should also belive that Wen Ning was a good person, he never meant to kill Ling's dad. If they listened and trusted Wei Ying from the beginning none of that would have happened.

I hated his character the most . he was the reason why everything started . And he was manipulated too easily , it was frustrating for me. all the times he could've stood up with wei wuxian he never did and he also pushed him off the cliff . I loved his character at first but started hating it later

Então nada mais justo que acontessece, mas mudaram.

I know in this drama he was called so many names from Wei Wuxian n from Wuxian , A-Xian n Xianxian were derived from it. He was also sometimes referred to as Childe Wei ,I really want to know where Lan Zhan derived Wei Ying from 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 5:16 it's the same reaction I had with Wei Ying when that guy was talking😂😂😂😂😂

I'm unsure if you've since found the answer to this, and I'm not an expert on the info, but from my understanding, in ancient times in China (could be more parts of Asia too but I only know for China) traditionally everyone has 3 names! The surname never changes (unless a woman and marrying into a family of course). The first is the name they're given at birth by their parents. His is Wei Ying. It's a name only family and friends/lovers use. You'll notice part way through the show that at a certain point it's how Lan Zhan refers to him unless angry/disappointed/reprimanding him, and helps signifies how close Lan Zhan considers their relationship. The next is a name they are given at age 18? I think - kind of like their adult name, used by anyone who isn't family, friends, lovers or just that close to them. His is Wei Wuxian, just like it's Lan Wangji for Lan Zhan! It's considered very rude for others to use your childhood name if they aren't close to you. The third name they get given is more like a title, or a moniker, something that lets people know about them! Yiling Laozu is Wei Wuxian's and from my understanding it literally means "Yiling" (the burial mounds) and Patriarch? I believe. The names such as A-Xian and Xianxian are endearments, and "Childe" is an odd translation thing. From my understanding, the closest thing that it makes sense to is "young master" so when the subtitles say Childe Wei, it's actually meaning something more like young master Wei! Sorry that this is long, and again you've probably already found the answer but if not I hope it helps the understanding xD
