The Untamed was the best thing that happened to me in years 💔 I would give anything for the opportunity to erase my memory and learn the story of these two like for the first time 😢

2024 and still feel those emotions. They did very well portraying the character emotions.

I wish i could erase my memory so that i could experience this drama for the first time again.

If anyone wants to know what love is. Love is when Lan Wangji suffered 33 whips and 3 years of punishment for Wei Ying. (Need I remind you that they were discipline whips, one whose scar would remain forever) Love is when even though the world was against Wei Ying, only Lan Zhan stood by his side. Love is when the most righteous and disciplined role model Lan Zhan broke the 3000 rules of Lan Clan without any hesitation for Wei Ying. Love is when Lan Zhan always shields Wei Ying with his sword before the enemy can get to him. Love is when he made a song for Wei Ying and named it "Wangxian" Love is when he branded himself with Wen Clan's sun symbol just because Wei Ying had the same mark in his body. Love is when Lan Zhan played inquiry aimlessly for years just trying to find a piece of Wei Ying's soul to know if he is fine. (BTW I read somewhere that Lan Zhan was playing inquiry not to bring Wei Ying back because he knew that the world was too cruel to him, but he just wanted to ask him if he was fine now after his death :( Love is when Lan Zhan waited for 16 fucking years for Wei Ying :( Now Imma go back to cry😭😭😭 Edit: Glad that I am not the only one crying.

It also depends on how good the story plot is. If the plot is good then 100 episodes or more are not a problem. If the plot is so-so, then yes, better end it before it gets boring.

I’m glad there are fans here who still yearn for Untamed. I just finished the drama and now reading the novel. My heart feels so heavy and I want to bawl when Unrestrained plays. It’s appreciation for the drama isn’t it ? It has that impact on its audience.

Never felt this way for a drama. Even after 4 years, mg feelings are way too complicated to explain. I wish there was s2 of the drama. The bond between Yizhan, the cast and the lines makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. The Untamed is my favourite and will always be my favourite.

My lyrics When we first met I thought you were so shameless but over time I grew to love and admire you but when I realized my feelings it was too late the world took you away from me I wait alone for you to return to my arms where you truly belong I will never let you go again

This drama wasn't just any other drama. It was an entire journey. The emotions that I felt while watching and now that I am done, I just feel really empty. I miss this.

I’m currently watching “The Untamed” and seeing these comments scare me because it kinda indicates a sad ending and if one of them dies I’m going to yeet myself from this cruel universe.

I usually got tired of watching cdrama or kdrama that has over 30 episodes, but the heck 50 episodes for the untamed? Why so little? I want more of the drama. Even if it reaches 100 episodes i wont get tired of it. I miss them 😭

Guys, i just cannot even express how great the drama is.... Not only the drama also the chemistry between main leads is so pure and lovable.. And Other characters acting was so great.. like Wen Ning, Jheng cheng, Yangli, Xue yang, Wen qing, Yuan, brother of lan zhan and so on. Specially the acting of Wei Wuxian's is another level. So so so so so so good..... After watching this masterpiece i cant even move on. This drama will be always the best drama to me. No matter how many times you watch this drama you will never get bored.. You will love to watch it even more.. Once you watch it for the first time, you will never like any other dramas again.... I watched this series two weeks ago and since then I couldn't even watch another series. tbh this is the very first historical drama that I've ever seen, and maybe that's why it left so much impression on me. reading the comment section here and on the another video related to this series, I think it's safe to say that 'the untamed' will be another 'harry potter'. maybe the series has ended a long time ago, but time after time the fandom will keep alive and bigger until God-knows-when, the memories remains forever. and for me, xiao zhan will always be wei wuxian, wang yibo will always be lan wangji, xuan lu will always be shijie, wang zhuo cheng will always be jiang cheng, yubin will always be wen ning, meng ziyi will always be wen qing, etc. ❤

I’ve watched so many straight dramas which have heated make-out sessions. This drama doesn’t have any kisses, or any intimacy because of Chinese censorship, but Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian’s relationship tops it all. Kashish Kaur A-Yuan was the little boy from the Wen clan that WWX saved and protected (along with other innocent Wens) by sheltering them in the Yiling Burial Mounds. I’m going to assume that you’ve finished the series: After these Wens turn themselves in (at least in The Untamed? Forgot what happens in donghua), A-Yuan is left behind in the Burial Mounds, which is where Lan Zhan finds him and raises him in Gusu Lan to be Lan Yuan/Lan Sizhui (who you meet at the very beginning in Mo Village)

I know, I literally just found this drama/story two days ago... and then I finished watching it in two days only, lol. I've only known The Untamed for two days, but holy moly, this story is so damn beautiful! I feel very heartbroken/empty that I finished the drama so quickly... Istg its been 2 years since i saw this drama and i just can't get over it! It is literally the only drama which i will rewatch a 100 times and never get bored of it. Untamed is a literal masterpiece.

for those who do not know, the chinese title of The Untamed is 'Chen Qing Ling', where 'Chen Qing' is the name of wwx's flute and 'Ling' means order. So when these words are combined together, "Chen Qing Ling' means the orders and instructions given by flute Chen Qing hit like to make more people see this😊: 👇

Yes! And additionally, 'Chen Qing' itself means 'lingering feelings'/'old love' -- this double meaning is also reflected in the line 'chenqing wei jue" ('the flute sound doesn't stop yet' or 'old sentiments remain') -- or alternatively 'to fully explain one's reasons and circumstances'. So wwx may have named his flute in reminiscence of his past affections OR out of longing to explain why he did what he did (which he couldn't) >>There's several layers to the title 'Chen Qing Ling': - the flute's command, - the story of 'Chen Qing', - the power of old feelings, - the misunderstandings arising from being unable to give full account for one's actions (This last one is just my interpretation and a bit of a reach😂)

Fully agreed...we all know re Lan Zhan and Yanli but I must hand it to you re Wen Ning :) I used to refer to him as my sweet boy...he was too sweet and I felt really bad what happened to him, but glad that Wei Ying had his back and he never let Wei Ying down...I felt really bad too for Wei Ying when all the lies and rumours went around about him...he had the sweetest spirit and personality

I love this soundtrack especially the intro music starting from 1:40, feels so harmonies I watched the drama on 2019, read the Manhwa on 2022, watched the anime and the small version anime on 2023 Then re-watched again and read it again I love the Manhwa coz its so bluntly show their real love relation, Wei Wu Xian & Lan Wang Ji😁 I love the drama coz the have sooo many handsome & flowery casts, especially the two main leads 😍, after watched The Untamed I become their fans🤣🤣..I don't care even tough I'm older than them 😆😆
