Tip from a nurse. Inject the equivalent amount of air into the “vial” as the amount you draw out. Thanks for today’s video.
All in all, it looks like a good day to be a steer on FarmerTylerRanch!
What's amazing to me is - you do this alone...; you herd, move and work these animals - great job. Thank you for sharing
Don't you just love it when things go easier than hoped?
Caption for that last shot of Callie, "Can I drive, Dad? Huh? Can I? Can I? Great video, Tyler.
Pasture looks awesome
I love that scale system you got, it's a little mini computer on its own. Another premium video from FTR
That scale system looks pretty cool! Fun new toy!
Nice control of those steers. Nice looking field. Grass tall and lush. Thank you.
Good morning Tyler have an awesome day sorting out the steers
Pretty smooth, you do a great job working the animals by yourself

I have to agree, for a 'one man' team, you sure do an excellent job with LOTS of work !! I like your new system that you've introduced
Those steers will love that green field. It's a good thing that grass is growing because I saw that your hay supply is getting mighty low. I love your low-key approach when making your videos. You make them interesting, as well as informative.
GM Tyler , The steers had a good weight to them and they looked like they were in heaven with all that green grass .
I love watching how planned improvements are working out for you. Obviously, your steers have minds of their own and they can’t be counted on to act in the way most beneficial to you, but the improvements you made to your handling system sure make a difference
All I see is very well trained steers. I love this channel Tyler.
Love your cattle moving videos the most!! Please also film when you bring the herd home from winter pasture! 🤠
Very cooperative bunch of steers it seems, happy it went so well for you.
@4:50 man, you've got the beat going for sure. Do your musical talents have no limits?? lol.... Congrats on a nice group of bulls for sure.
Great video - I know you're really appreciating the hard work to get the weigh table installed.
You amaze me at how much you get done doing it all by yourself! And how you line the trailer up to fit into the bed of the truck and back it up to unload! Great job.
Great video. It's always fun to watch the cattle's reaction to different scenairos. Very entertaining. Love the pasture! Thanks for sharing.
The steer pasture is such a beautiful place. It really is paradise for cattle. The steers may not live very long lives, but it sure is a good life that they have.
just like the A-team.....I love it when a plan comes together!
Wow, once you get past that nasty mud season, your ranch is really beautiful. I'd love to spend the days in that steer pasture myself!
Nice, you were pretty calm and they didn't have much panic so it went very well. After they got on the trailer I was expecting a flat tire, maybe crash the trailer into your fence or the fence just fell over...something because that looked too easy and yes I know it wasn't... It was easy for me because I didn't do it...but it did appear almost too easy. Thanks for the video
Great video Tyler! I love how you work your cattle by yourself. You are way calmer than most, but then, most operations have more than one & they hustle! I love the Gallagher system, they are very durable too. I've watched a sheep farmer that used it a lot, along with the scan wand. Sheep have a lot of babies to track, but still I watched her use it for 5 years💙
I liked their look of anticipation as you drove up to the pasture!
Hi Tyler, I am always wondering your age, so i thought, I'm just gonna ask. You are so young and it amazes me that you work the farm by yourself. I love watching your videos. God bless y'all.
Good records make a huge difference. Knowing which cows/bulls produced the top gaining steers will be helpful when deciding which heifers to keep for replacements.
The pasture looks like the garden of Eden to those steers. I love the idea of the scale; I think that was a great investment!
smart man, you threw in the real star of the channel at the end!!
Great day moving livestock ! That went like clockwork.
Thank u Tyler. U r just such a Treasure. No matter the situation, u Always Handle it so well. such a Trooper, u Rock. Keep up the great work.
i almost forgot to hit the like button until you said, "holy cow! get it?" and i lol'd
Awesomeness
WOW! 105,000 subscribers you’re still growing. That’s great!!! Interesting video, I’m glad the steer cooperated. Going over to the steer pasture brought to mind that you were going to bring shears to cut back the berry vines by the water trough. ? Maybe? Anyway I enjoyed today’s video and I’m glad you’re having good weather. ☀️

The scientist and statistician in me is just glowing with satisfaction! Data! We need more data! That Gallagher system is an awesome piece of equipment. Great video, FTR! And so peaceful at the end, watching the best brown steers eat the best green grass!
Nothing better than new pasture
Cooperative steers... You made it happen. Including the "tame" one, in the group, that you raised in the bull pen was the key. The time you spent around him, Callie playing kissy face every day, built trust. He very likely communicated that to his buddies, so getting on the trailer was an easy thing to accept.

Great video and awesome camera set-ups. Thank you.
It will be interesting to follow the steers progress and growth.
Time for you shots…lollipop reward is a little trip and fresh, new, green grass, not a bad exchange.
Hay Tyler do you ever have an easy day at your farm i guess that's part of being a farmer a good life thank you for sharing
Your steers were very well behaved ! They look very happy at their new grazing fields 😊
Really good looking group of steers!
I’d say that was a pretty good day! Cooperative steers, can’t beat it! 😊 Awesome video as always!
It's always pleasing to me to see big, healthy stock...and they're at such great weights!!! You're so good at all that you do, Farmer T! Your videos are always wonderful for me to see. You know what you're doing, and you are raising some of the best cattle I've ever seen. Can't wait to see Riveter's offspring, too. He's going to give you some even more beautiful calves when the time comes, I'm thinking. Can't wait to see them! All the best to you and your family. 😊
Some days are easier than others. Good job.
Great job boys. Be interesting to see how many times it takes them to figure out the routine here. Good job Calli as you watched from the truck window. Love the steer with black down the middle of face and white on the sides.
When you lay out what todays plans and goals are I sit back with my coffee and almost rub my hands together. Interesting life, interesting channel.
Great videos of showing how you take care and show care for your family animals and land❤❤thanks for sharing everyone have a day😊❤❤see you next time on Farmer Tyler Ranch
Back a few years we would call this "High Speed, Low Drag", I really like the plan for growth measurement and the tools you use. The steer pasture is primo!! You have definitely put some thought and planning into the future of the FTR!! Great post Tyler!
What a PRO. Backing up using only the mirrors.
Great new system. It will be a big help.
You just plain make it look so easy! I really enjoy your vids FT! It’s all so interesting! It’s all brilliant! Tx FT!😊😊😊
Hi 👋🏽 Tyler., Glad things are working for you 5-11-2023❤
Went as good as you would want it to Tyler. Good job.
Great job Tyler, really enjoyed the video,as i do all of them.👍👏
Maybe the steers intuitively know they have the smorgasbord of their dreams awaiting them 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
Maybe it went so well because you’re just getting so good at this!
I love watching you with your tests and improvements.
😮 That went well. 👍
Love the shaggy winter coats. Good crop of steers - all that good tricale!
Wish you filmed your branding. I enjoy learning from you. Love your videos and you getting things done!
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch I enjoyed the video and your cows and yearlings are looking really good
The new scale is exciting. In two years you should be able to see what the two new bulls have added for weight gain as well. That will be exciting.
GOOD JOB TYLER.
2202 has lovely markings on his face.
It's those little things that make you speechless.
Good looking steers
They probably thought they were at the butcher shop lmao! I wouldnt want to get off the trailer either!!! lmao~
Happy boys!! 😊
Another great video!!! TY
You'd better enjoy things that go good today, they won't always be that easy. The trick I found is never get in a big hurry...
Awesome video Tyler
I used a sharpie on my ear tags and the sun faded it completely off. Can't tell for sure what you used. But you might want to get the paint for ear tags. Second suggestion, take a toilet bowl brush down and tie it near your stock tanks. (I have several around the farm) Then you'll always have a brush to clean out your stock tanks.
I was just wondering have you ever thought of or tried putting 4 T-posts and some fence or with how well you can weld, weld cattle panels to the posts to keep the steers off the water sprinklers. I am guessing the steers are the one’s breaking them.
All you can eat buffet. The steers look really good. I'm in California, maybe if you have some to sell, I would be interested. Not a large amount.
That was a really long needle!! Glad it went good
Great video! I wish I had access to a watered pasture like that.
Take the good luck as it happens. the next time may be quite awhile away
You have some sassy steers! Lol
That was interesting to watch. What weight are you hoping for at the end of summer? Seeing the trends over time will certainly be worth your investment.
Could some of your replacement heifers, gone with the steers? Or the pasture not be able to support more?
I use a similar numbering system for calves--4 digits first 2 are year and last 2 are the dam. My cows are first 2 are year and 2nd 2 are just and sequential number 01, 02, etc. This gives me a better idea of cows I wish to cull by knowing the calves coming off them.
Love the videos thanks for posting
Harvest Steers, I guess they never get to play with the ladies... Btw, these boys seem rarther tame compared to other operations.
Thanks 😊
New subscriber.. Lov your videos!!
Since I'm not a farmer I can ask this question. (:-D Are foxtails an issue in your grass/hay ? I noticed a lot of it when you let the cattle out of the trailer. BTW, this old Vietnam vet loves your videos...

I saw the Branding Iron, were these steers branded while in the squeeze and you just didn't show it??
Friendly Question. Why don't you take a cutting of hay ahead of the steers? It seems as if you could have added to the barn and still have enough feed for the steers. Seems like the grass going to seed means that you can't graze the field fast enough. Ps. I am a total layman 😊 so this isn't criticism.
That poop on side of trailer has been there over a year…lol…peace..
Operation clean that trailer
What harvest weight are you looking for? I wonder what the 'sweet spot' is between weight gain and grazing time, so the maximum sale price is reached.
A suggestion you probably have considered given your thought processes. Why not identify the mother on the ear tag so you are then able to identify mothers throwing best and worst calves. This would add another consideration to any culling decisions. Just a thought because you now have the ability to record all this data
Did you take some cutters an cut the berry vines that were at the other two water troughs??
Looks like a beautiful day in NorCal, where does your water come from for the sprinklers? well or canal?
@kimcwhite6509
Жыл бұрын
Fred, probably a well. I don't think they have irrigation canals where he lives, but I may be wrong!
I raise butcher calves myself. I’m wondering at what weight you send your calves for processing and roughly how many days that you have them on feed.
Hi Tyler how is everybody
"Holy *cow* "😂😂😂😜
