170 pounds, the standard FAA weight for a human being.
Watching you work with your trusty assistant is always a delight. Callie watches and supervises everything you do and her expressive face says: "Let me at it Dad! I can do it... I'm ready!... Send me in!"
"That's Pete's joke I can't take it" lol
Nice job on getting those scale pieces under the cattle shut. You are truely a resourceful farmer with many talents
Yep, you have all the skills. I like how you mentioned safety issues and altered your plans accordingly to keep yourself safe. I never thought I would see the day where I craved watching a person have basic common sense. I guess it isn't so common anymore so let's just call it......"Farmer Tyler Sense"....😊

😂😂🙌 Love it!
Your attention to detail and the resulting perfection adds to the enjoyment of watching your videos. Keep up the great work!
Nice work Tyler! As my mom used to say, "you're as handy as a pocket on a shirt"!! You are great when it comes to making improvements to the ranch! And what amazes me is you do all this heavy work without help from anyone else...except Calli likes to help! I don't think you gave her enough lovin' this morning! She still needs to give you lots of sugar!😘 I love that girl. She's a beautiful yellow Lab.

I too am amazed what Tyler accomplishes by himself. A very talented Dude !
You are a farmer with many talents! Congratulations on a job well done.
Love your reference to Pete. Cracks me up every time.
Respect for honoring Pete about the joke! He is one of a kind.
It’s a good point about no one knowing your in trouble for hours. Maybe a simple walkie-talkie system like the police use attached somewhere so you just need to push a button to summon help. I know it would make me feel better.
Good Morning Everyone😊 Congraulation On The Fantastic Work You Are Doing On Making /Expierense Different Items. Thanks For Sharing God Bless You All see you next time on Farmer Tyler Ranch hugs and prayers❤❤❤
Anything you can do for yourself gives you more options on how you want it to be when complete. All that flexability means you can tailor it to fit your unique situation and wants. Very impressive, can't wait for the finish and maiden trial!!
Ah , the life of a small farmer/rancher. I was there many years ago, so many tasks are done alone. You really need to be comfortable working by yourself, the company a good dog is very important!

Just be very careful with that hi-lift those things are notorious for injuries 😉
You're not really cheap, you're resourceful. You have the metal, the ingenuity and the talent to make feet the are best suited for your individual needs. I love watching you fabricate.
Another job well done. Really enjoy your creativity. Loved your comedic reference to Pete from "Just a Few Acres Farm". Looks like you had good weather to do your work. It couldn't have been much more than 1200 degrees Celsius. 😂
Morning FTR and everything else
You say you’re cheap, but your solutions rarely are. The time, effort and materials that go into your solutions probably would be unaffordable to most. Buying something is what you do when you don’t have the knowledge, tools or resources to remedy a problem on your own. You’re work is always stellar because it’s tailor made. Plus you don’t have to throw away annoying packaging.😉 Love watching you work, give Callie a boop for living her best life.
If you ever got injured, Callie would be like Lassie and run back to "mom" when Jeff or Timmy fell into the well. On a serious note, your cell probably has good reception where you live as long as someone always carries their phone on the other end.
What a big accomplishment! Can't wait to weigh the bulls!
So close to being completed . Can't wait to see how much Riveter weighs !!!
Great job again. Your not cheap, you are efficient and use what you have rather than unnecessary spending. Have a super day.
Good commendable work thinking! I'm 21Yr. Retired Fire Service/Fire Marshal - and 21 yr. Health Facilities Maintenace/Safety Director... Keep thinking safety farmer.
Luv your FAB SKILLS Tyler, thanks for showin'/sharin'! 👍💪🙏
Thanks for sharing and good thinking on safety and how to make your scale more user friendly. Being good to you is also smart.
You are such a hard working young man. Very conscientious & honest. It's good watching you & your work ethic. I wish there were more young people like you.
You're not cheap Tyler. You're just very resourceful, and you should be very proud of that.
I'm glad you are a "Just A Few Acres" guy. I love Pete's dad jokes.
The channel keep getting better. Good job.
A nice clean install/upgrade to the operation. I like the Gallagher's ability to track the weights over time. This definitely will be an asset to your operation. Good post!
Thanks for showing your work, especially your use of clamps and how you hold things together instead of a third hand it’s helping me to rethink the way I do things. Thank you very much.
I see a shade or awning in your future. That sun is bright but will get even brighter through the summer.
So much more than just a scale. Great that all that data will be stored. Good job, Tyler.
169 pounds of awesome! Another fantastic video. 😊 I am so proud of you and just delighted to watch you and your ranch grow. Tyler, I truly believe you are amazing and the things you create are professional grade. Great job!
I would consider making a sun cover for the screen. I have flow computers that i can read due to sun damage. Great job on the scales
I absolutely love how safety conscious you are. I’m sure many accidents could be prevented if time is taken to ensure personal safety 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
Nice job on the shute Tyler be very careful when doing jobs like that by yourself thanks for sharing be safe
😂😂😂 Dang metric measurements! Pete made me laugh out loud with the t-posts.
Great job. Looks like it's going to be very nice when it's done. Keep it up
Nice job you will love your new scale.
You make me want to learn to weld. Really no reason for me to learn, but it looks fun the way you use it.
Hi Tyler , when you mentioned the joke for the metric imperial , just as Pete from A few Acres Farm does always , was funny for viewers of both channels .. Maybe one day you could visit Pete's farm , his kniwlegde and attitude will benefit you and your farm ..And his jokes of course
As always, you did a great fabrication job.
You are really so talented, it’s a pleasure watching you! You make your Grampa very proud indeed! God’s blessings FT!❤❤❤
thank you tyler yet another great show how to do things at your ranch . your ways of doing things have been well thought out and the end result is very positive . love how you showed us how to do things and getting them done . no pictures of your cows today but we did see you side kick ..lol (shes such a good girl ).thank you for the take along. from seattle washington
Can’t wait till the weighing of the bulls and may I say that way of putting it together I would’ve never figured it out knowing my dumbass I probably would’ve put the weigh bars on top of the shoot why idk but I do know that’s why I’m not a rancher !! Great work putting it together!!
Can’t wait to see the bull go a cross the scale a farmer has to be a Jack of all trades and u sure are one good job .
Maybe a smidge of luck, FTR, the rest is the thoughtfulness and careful measuring that your fans have come to expect. The concrete ramps look fabulous. Thanks for the safety shout out.
Yes great job and improvement for your farm.. That hi lift..handy man Jack is dangerous.. Glad you kept it straight up. I have seen many accidents or heard of them in the national forests.. Be safe..☺️. Oh and I am like you.. I don’t buy stuff I can easily make.. The ability to make what you need is fun, resourceful and keeps us happy..
I am smiling ear to ear! Congratulations on an amazing job. Welding sure has come in handy for you, project after project. I love your videos.
Congratulations on a job WELL DONE !! That high bar is worth its weight in gold. The scale retaining the weights will be so very useful. Modern conveniences for “old” fashioned farming.
Great video FTR. Always enjoy watching you fabricate things.
The scale project is looking good, well done!
It is always a great pleasure to follow your train of thought and see how you go from thought to action and finish with a fantastically well-done result 🤩
So happy to finally see what a "Load Bar" looks like. Some years ago I had a hog weighing "crate" with a siwng gate at the outlet that alowed us to sort hogs by weight. Worked well , but it used a tried and true FARBANKS balance scale mecanism. It had transport wheeles so we could use it at different locations. The "High Lift" jack you use is identical to one we used called "The Handi Man" jack. Wonder Who made the High Lift ? Great video . Good thinking one the dirt guard on the entrance end.
I am in agreement. I wouldn’t call you cheap. The skill and resourcefulness of giving new life to old or spare parts from other jobs is something that I think we can all appreciate about you!👍👍 Having a good supervisor like Calli doesn’t hurt either!😂
Great job Tyler. Looks and works good.
Fine piece of engineering !!
You’re operation is coming together more and more. Well done.
Great work Tyler. I am Excited for u. I knew it would work because if ur Innovation. Luv watching Callie, she is so Dedicated to being right there with u. Thank u so much for sharing, and now I can Carry On!
Great job setting up your new scale. Looking forward to seeing it anchored down and functional. Great video. Thank you FTR. 👍
Another great video, FTR...
We’ve been Weighting on this video,as usual another great presentation, can’t weight to see what the young bulls weigh!Give Callie a good belly rub for me!Good job!
Great job.
I like the reference to Pete's joke. Glad you took the time to measure twice and drill once so the holes lined up. I need to learn that skill. Of course when they don't line up it's because I used imperial instead of metric.
Mr Practicality triumphs again. Well done as usual
Tyler, your fabrication skills are impressive and well executed. Everything adds to efficiency with data. As they say, “You can’t manage something you don’t measure.” Congrats on getting the scale in the game! It was fun to see your face when you finished. You looked like a little kid at Christmas. You have lots to be proud of. You work hard and long hours. Farmers and ranchers are under-appreciated, underpaid, and yet critical! Your fortitude is incredible. Stay safe, healthy and happy!
Awesome job Tyler so glad you are getting your chute done its better to make your own stuff if you have the materials than having to run n buy them
I'm so proud for you! This is going to make a substantial difference in your operation. Great job.😊
The ramps turned out real good. Can't wait to see the scale in action.
Job very well done 🚜🚜👍👍👍🚜🚜
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch I enjoyed the video
Would like to see you sand and paint the shoot and alley and possibly all your metal fencing
Again you amaze me how you think it though and then create what you need and it works! Great job!
You can see that inner smile and rightly so.
Good Morning, Tyler! I just my Sixth Covid Shot! Sore Arm! Squeeze Shut! Very Heavy!
I wish my scale said what yours said. Maybe my scale is broken? 😂😂
Looks good to me.
Wow, progress! I am excited for you and I hope you’ll share your data with us. Thank you.
Good to see that but am learning your inches and feet you also enjoy Pete's humour.....I'm a metric man from SA
Outstanding job! That scale will take the guess work out of a bunch of stuff.
TYLER THE FAB MAN 👍 GREAT JOB SURE ENJOY WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS
Great work! I know you wouldn't have been able to do it as well had Callie not been helping 😃
Well done Tyler!
I’m installing my chute and you gave me so many great ideas, where did you purchase your load bars ? Great video!
😂😂😂 @ "That's Pete's joke, I can't take it."
I suddenly got worried about you out there alone , might I suggest you implement a check in protocol that works for you and family ,I enjoy your videos very much . I never thought about what would happen if God forbid you were injured .
You need to train up Callie to do what Lassie was able to do - "Callie, go get Gramps"
Was that Pete from Just a Few Acres joke? My 2 yearold grandson and I love both channels.
Great job as usual!
just love it cannot wait till the next one
Good job as usual!
Good job Tyler great job proud of you buddy may God be with you
Hey Tyler I know by the time you get home you are dirt tried., And fall right to sleep. Thanks 4-25-2023❤
