OMG, when you said "this makes me wanna go skating" that's exactly what everyone was doing when this came out and yes they played hell outta the Bee Gees.. Best skating music ever. Every time I hear this brings back those carefree memories.

A week of the Bee Gees makes me happy. I grew up with their records playing in the house and my mother was WEAK when it came to Barry (the oldest that you referred to as the lead). 50 years of hits and awards makes a band trash? I think not! They were iconic. It's tragic from the 4 brothers there's only one remaining. There's a great documentary on the Bee Gees on YT if you're interested (not for the channel of course, it's 2 hours long). It's amazing how many icons they influenced, wrote for, played with, and touched. It's called This Is Where I Came In - The Official Story of The Bee Gees. Great reaction and good choice for the reception.

Agreed. I've literally never heard someone say that the Bee Gees are trash (or anything like it) after they've heard a few songs of theirs. If they still do, they truly have no feel for music. I mean, you have to respect and recognize talent when it's in front of your face, even if it's not to your personal taste.

4:26 I could not agree more with that person! I've been saying that my favorite music is from pre-2000's. Even all the way back to the 1940's.. And this is coming from a 28 year old. (29 in a couple of weeks.)

To me the 60s-80s was the best music ever. I could not tell you an artist that is of today's time but the music they're my era the 60s through the 80s every time a song comes on I can still know the words and sing it there was no auto-tune or anything like that we didn't do no lip-syncing or anything like that this it was all natural voices no fake crap

Just respectful words that seem to reflect what many of us feel but have not been put into words before. They have many songs that would be perfect wedding songs, and they actually have a song called, "Wedding Day" that would be more than perfect!

Prolific songwriters, many written by them for others such as Heartbreaker sung by Dionne Warwick. Excellent tune!

For all that's holy: YES! Also, I wouldn't mind a Michael Jackson Week. Long time since I heard some of the older songs (I loved the Thriller and Bad time!)

Being born in 1960 I've lived in one of the best time frames in music history. I remember very vividly my older brothers and sisters listening to the hits of the 60s and being a teenager in the 70s, I heard and enjoyed all of greats of the 70s. As a 20 something I rocked out to the wonderful songs of the 80s. It's awesome to watch you figure out that even without autotune, the music from back then still makes you want to hear more.

Their most funky song is Love you Inside Out... This track is fire

The Bee Gees are the brothers Gibb. The guy with the hair (lead singer in this song) is Barry. The other two are fraternal twins Robin (long hair) and Maurice (pronounce Morris).

Samantha Sang's "Emotion." You'll love the song because Barry Gibb (the one in the middle) wrote it and his background vocals are all over it!

I have a very soft spot for "Tragedy" and "For whom the bell tolls". Oh, and the "New York Mining Desaster 1941" - that one is great!

The Bee Gees were brothers, which is why they mix so well. When they started in the 60's there were four brothers in the group. They recorded 22 albums, so their well of goodness is deep. :)

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful love songs that I have ever heard. Barry said that when Saturday night fever was made someone called him and said I need you to make a beautiful love song and boy did they come through.

Love that you appreciate good music regardless of when it was made. This song came out over 40 years ago and people have loved it since it came out and will continue to love it.

I was cruising down PCH near Malibu in my new convertible. Had a cute short hair cut that blew perfectly in the wind. It was a beautiful day. I was feeling all of it. Now my car turned out to be a lemon but it was cute. I can feel all of the emotions when I hear this song.

There is a sister, Lesley, the first born. She is the 'Queen Bee' 😁. She was 76 yrs old, back in January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. I read that she can sing too.
