The reason that Clayman couldnt control Shion was technically his fault, his ability takes control of the persons mind but thanks to Shion being killed and revived by Rimuru her and all the others revived gained an ability that basically makes them immortal as long as their soul is intact, and gives them the ability to store their consciousness in their soul so Claymans skill was targeting the wrong place for shion, She is literally a perfect counter to Clayman and hes partially responsible for her skills countering him, also in the LN they go into detail just how much effort she went to to pretend to be mind controlled, her dead-eye look was thanks to eating green peppers iirc, and she forced her protection barriers to turn off so that clayman would believe he had her controlled

Milim playing 4D chess to see who was pulling Clayman's strings. My head cannon is that Milim is playing as a fool and throughly enjoys doing it (along with fighting). Her intelligence is a thing to not be underestimated.

Milim is constantly underestimated by anime watchers because of Rimuru's unreliable narration. When she is in season 1, he acts the whole time like he is manipulating her and getting what he wants as if she's a naive child; it's being ignored in all of that that she is getting everything that she wants without giving up anything that she doesn't want to.

the manga thing with Veldora was changed, it was supposed to be a prank made by Rimuru. Basically Veldora was planning to read the final Volume of a manga, Rimuru changed the content to a different manga while the cover remains the same. Veldora got angry and went to complain to Rimuru. This is the second time Shion use her Chef skill in a way aside from cooking. the first was with the three prisoners altering their biological body. This time Shion couldn't cut through Clayman's armor, however, she change the outcome so she can cut it. (Remember her chef skill is a reality bender skill.) it went from "Can't cut the armor" to "can cut the armor" Milim clues of not being mind controlled -last episode "no spell found" by Raphael the lord of WISDOM - milim getting angry with Rimuru for absorbing her energy and smiling when Rimuru got caught in her trap -Guy saying that "If milim wants to on her own volition" -Frey foreshadowing Clayman's death -Laplace's warning about Milim -Veldora trying to say something about Milim to Rimuru at 1:31 MANGA CLUES THAT WERE LEFT OUT -Guy said that "Only those with ultimate skills can fight with others with Ultimate skill." and that there is no way Milim can be controlled by Clayman who does not have an Ultimate skill. -Milim did a fist pump under the table when Rimuru got angry for her. funfact Milim is smart just like all the other characters in this anime like Veldora, it's just their personality that makes us forget that. Milim is more cunning than she looks. Guy even admitted it to Leon. Milim has to remove her passive barriers to actually let Clayman hit her, even with that her physical durability is still high, the chances of Clayman getting injured is higher when he punched her. To maintain a neutral expression Milim has a green bell pepper in her mouth the entire time. she has a bit of a trigger when she eats raw vegetables giving her a blank expression. The dragon faithful(Specifically Middray) offers Milim raw fruits, vegetables, and fried meat. Saying that the bounties of the forest are best served at their original state. Since they genuinely think this, Milim eats the offerings with a blank expression to hold her disgust and other emotions she has towards it, because she doesn't want to hurt their feelings. Clayman is pitiful and unfortunate as a light novel reader and a manga reader of his side story.

@@Angel_Rod Frey actually openly "complained" about the fist pump when it was revealed that Milim was not controlled since it could have ruined the whole permeance if Clayman saw it. and i am sure that Raphael noticed it too via Universal Detect but didnt say anything as punishment for Rimuru -> though you could say it lets him appear weaker than he is which is his goal, so he has an advantage later.

Though that doesnt change the fact that he treated his subordinates poorly and killed countless human slaves just so he can awaken.

So imagine youre clayman,bleeding out on the floor after having all your plans fall apart, beaten to near death by not even a feloow demon lord,and ALL the demon lords you thouht at least had SOME respect for you start talking shit,and the guy you hate most calls your life falling apart a "cheap play"

There was plenty of foreshadowing for the Milim twist: -The fact that as a Spiritual Lifeform, she is highly resistant to Spiritual and Mental attacks. Don't worry, I don't expect Anime-only watchers to know this since it didn't bother to explain the Spiritual Attack Resistance skill (a Resistance type skill that reduces effects on the mind/spirit under a certain threshold to be negligible) Rimuru got when he evolved into a True Demon Lord and therefore became a Spiritual Lifeform. Clayman should have been aware of this skill, since he possesses it himself, which shows just how off his game he has been. -Milim's over exuberance when declaring war on Eurazania -Milim allowing herself to get so worked up during her fight with Carrion that she used her combat form and then went completely overboard by using Drago-Nova. -Guy's complete lack of concern over Milim and his belief that she was up to something -Veldora trying to explain to Rimuru that controlling Milim wasn't possible only for Rimuru to cut him off part-way. -Rimuru being able to easily undo the effects of Demon Dominate on the Nine Head using Raphael despite Raphael's inability to detect a spell on Milim. Note: Rimuru needs to learn to listen to Raphael's every word as if it was gospel. ------------------------------------------ Milim and Frey played Clayman and Rimuru hard. Frey having realized that something was up with Clayman (and really disliking him) asked Milim for assistance in investigating and Milim, being both bored and having her own end goals for Clayman and Rimuru, agreed to help her friend Frey out. -Clayman is exposed to all and sundry as the wimpy (wimp only by Demon Lord standards mind you), lying, sack of shit he is. -Milim reveals to anime-only audiences that she is a lot smarter than she lets on (the manga and especially the light novels were a lot better at showing Milim's experience at work). -Rimuru becomes a Demon Lord (which is what Milim wanted from Rimuru back in Season 1), replacing the much-weaker Clayman. -Clayman is exposed to the council as a servant of the former Demon Lord Kazalim who somehow survived his death at the hands of Leon. In order to make Clayman believe the trick, Milim had to lower all of her passive defenses and suppress her power temporarily and in order to keep a straight face she had to chew on bell peppers. -------------------------------------- Breakdown of how Shion Defeated Clayman: 1. She used the skill Ogre Berserker to dramatically increase her physical strength 2. Shion's skill Perfect Memory (also called Complete Memory) allows her to store her memories in her Astral Body, similarly to a Spiritual Lifeform. A byproduct of this is rendering her immune to mental domination. 3. Her sword Hercules' Edge had been upgraded by Kurobe to be capable of damaging the spiritual bodies of its victims after Kurobe applied the knowledge he had obtained of such weapons from studying Hinata's sword Dead End Rainbow which Rimuru had absorbed during their fight and subsequently isolated within Gluttony's Stomach. 4. Shion used her skill Master Chef's sub-skill Optimal Action to allow her to know the best method to reach her objective. 5. Shion used her skill Master Chef's sub-skill Certain Outcome to overwrite the nature of Clayman's weapons to make them easy to smash. All in all, despite having roughly equal levels of magicules, Clayman was no match for Shion. --------------------------------------- Note: Clayman's awakening is not a complete awakening, in the Light Novels it's explicitly referred to as a pseudo-awakening. He did not fulfill the requirements of the Harvest Festival and he did not evolve into a True Demon Lord so this is only a temporary power-up with him only becoming stronger than Frey, Carrion and Roy Valentine. The rest of the council would butcher him.

@@galonski64 honestly, his build and strategy was shit. It was only suited to manipulation of those weaker or,with prep maybe an equal. But his second form, the one with the extra limbs. Cmon. He clearly knew magic decently, he created weapons. But not once in that whole damn fight against shion did he throw one fucking non control spell. even after she broke out of the threads,he could've used them in moderation. They were easy to break, but he could likely use them to throw off her stance mid step. Instead , he went all in on strength and dex for form 2,something which didn't really help at all

​@@galonski64by magiculs amount shion was compareble to roy Valentine who was as strong as kazaream from past, Clayman's creater. But it's also said that she is around same level as Clayman in strength. Clayman is just isn't close combat type and not trained much but shion is full close combat type and quite trained as a fighter.

Most probably thought that it was impossible, however the moment Clayman punched Milim and milim didn't react blew all their doubts away. Similar to Dino's reaction about how she didn't react at all, considering they know her for being short fused. They probably think that clayman had a spell that they can't Analyze latched on Milim. Guy never doubted her as it is obvious, Veldora as well since he doesn't know Milim's personality and what happened earlier he has an objective stand point when he Analyze her.

In the LN when Guy and Leon are talking, Guy straight up says it's impossible for Clayman to control Milim as even Guy can't do it himself. They decided to make it a bit more mysterious in the anime though.

He called them "veldora style killing arts" Anime and manga make him stronger as he always has very big amount of magiculs but lack techniques to use it on. Anime and manga provides him with all kind of techniques. He even has skills to help in make it reality. So there's can lot of references in future too.

The only reason that kamehameha was able to be used was because the mangaka is actually friends with the creator of dragon ball lol

One more episode to go. And as promised I will describe to you what's going on with veldora and rimaru. So the ultimate skill velnora that rimaru acquired. It's for all intents and purposes actually veldora himself. What you're seeing is just a clone body of rimuru that veldora possesses . his physical core is now permanently A part of rimuru himself. They're basically now a 2 in 1 being. Because of this veldora can instantly appear wherever rimaru is and rimaru can summon him from wherever his Clone body is. With the caviar being the clone body hes currently inhabiting disintegrates while a new body is created in rimurus location. If the Cologne body is ever killed which is nyan impossible to begin with but if it is it can just be recreated again as long as rimuru is alive And exists so too will valdora.

Core, soul everything is in the clone of rimuru and nothing is inside rimuru's stomach. They aren't 2 in 1 type thing. Only things that connects them is family name tempest and soul corridor between them. Soul corridor is highest level of connection between two people and they know each other positions even if they are in completely different space-time. As long as you know coordinate of each other they can teleport to other's locations from anywhere. Also rimuru's can't summoned him without his permission. That clone is now veldora's and rimuru can't do anything to it. Proof is something that happened in LN and it wouldn't have happened if veldora's core was inside rimuru's.

I had feeling that the link will be for video from anime rumpai and i was right. I have read LN( till latest volume) and that video has some wrong information. If i remember correctly i also comment on that video( or rimuru's video) about it. If veldora's core was inside rimuru then *that* very very important thing in volume 15 wouldn't have happened. Anime is currently in volume 6.

It's original ( official too) source of information as it's the story written by author himself. I also have read LN so that alone make me qualified to correct them.
