I think Tyler genuinely liked Wednesday and always accepted her for who she is. He really never got mad at her for being dismissive, sociopathic, sadistic, selfish, or not returning his affections outwardly, he just went with it unlike Xavier. However, him being the hyde and his master hating her got between them. Tyler actually saved her life so any times and fought his urge to kill her in his hyde state on multiple occasions, plus killing any threats to her including Rowen and the homeless guy who threatened her in the old meeting house ruin. He only attacked her when he was ordered to but had several opportunities to do it. He got more and more unstable the more he turned into the hyde and was manipulated by Laurel, which is why it turned into a competitive winner/loser conversation at the police station. She was pissed she was tricked be because of her competitive nature vs the fact she hurt Xavier. I don’t think Wednesday was ever freaked out by him saying his victims’ fear was delicious because freaking people out is something she takes pleasure in herself, plus she doesn’t really mind potentially killing people if it serves her purpose like with the swimmers and the piranhas. She was really more fascinated by the hyde than scared of it and wanted to catch it to figure out the puzzle vs justice, and only really became mad after it hurt Eugene. She is protective over people she tolerates like her brother and friends and was getting even. Xavier is a good guy with a moral compass. He got mad when Wednesday was with Tyler and couldn’t understand that she honestly didn’t care about his mean prank. Wednesday was impressed by Tyler’s prank on Xavier vs judgmental because it was mean, and he was impressed by her piranha stunt vs being horrified. Even when Tyler trying to kill her at the end they were flirting in their own sadistic, sociopathic, murderous, competitive way. She wasn’t even really that pissed that he was manipulated into betraying her but more that she was tricked by him and losing that round. They are much more on the same creepy, sadistic wavelength than her and Xavier. Tyler liked her the way she was and never judged her for not caring as much. Xavier will be the one to change her to be a bit more moral, nice, and socially acceptable, but in her original state she was much more like Tyler.

HELP AN ADULT?!😭 tyler is literally supposed to be 16-17. There isn’t an in-show canon age difference. Idk why ppl r so insistent on him being an adult💀😭 if anyone in the show was groomed, it was him😭😭😭
