i really don't get people who think he didn't at least feel something for wednesday in the slightest. when he's confessing to her about the murders after he tells her "you have no idea what's coming" his face drops and he gets teary eyed. some part of him definitely liked her.

@@thewildfarmerwife first of all, the actor is not the writer. his interpretation of the character isn't automatically right. second, the actor actually said "i DON'T KNOW if he cared for her. i think there's an attraction and i think he sees her as a worthy opponent".

The actor said "He was always playing her. Maybe there's an attraction there and, he probably wouldn't admit it, but a respect for her, but he's filled with so much anger and hatred toward her and her family and all of Nevermore because of what happened to his mom." However do I want them to be together. Absolutely. Obviously they would need to figure a lot of shit out. And no the actor is not the writer. However he is told how to act and what to do by the director.

But no, I’m interested to see what their dynamic would be without Thornhill or Laurel Gates pulling the strings on Tyler behind the scenes." he probably isn't sure himself on how to interpret his character. anyway, i think no one outside from the writers will truly know if he cared for her or not, but whatever, let's just hope they give them an enemies to lovers act in the second season

I know Tyler is the monster snd and that makes him enemy of Wednesday. But still I believe, them turning into lovers and getting over their own flaws would be the most interesting thing to watch. On the other hand no matter how good xavier is, if he and Wednesday becomes the end game then that would not be something unique. At least for me as an audience that would be pretty usual, nothing interesting to watch. That's why I'm still rooting for Tyler and Wednesdays. Hope the directors will not dissapoint us

Wednesday is more of an anti hero she arrogant and devious but she not evil. She only wants hurt those who deserve it not having innocent people dead.

I tripped and fell into them! Excellent song choice! Their banter and chemistry was on point!

My heart broke when they revealed he was the monster, I was literally SO excited when they kissed.. I HOPE that in the future they actually become a couple, and if they don't my brain will be broken forever Also it would be perfect that if they do become a couple, that Wendesday becomes his master and can control him from becoming violent... Man i just wish with my whole heart they become lovers again Btw love the video

We’ll recently, (if you’re still interested in this topic) Tyler’s actor confirmed that Tyler did feel something for Wednesday because their first interaction at the Weathervane was genuine! Tyler didn’t know Wednesday was they key Laurel needed at that point!

You can tell he really did care for Wednesday, I love their relationship If you look at it a certain way it's not really his fault, he lost his mom when he barely knew her and she used that against him He was manipulated and you can tell. It literally explained she chained him when he resisted until he became loyal His dad told him nothing about his mom and there was someone who came close to feeling like a mom to him. Idk I just think people are to harsh to him when you can tell he cares about her and then Xavier lashes out at her when he gets angry and says some really messed up stuff It's just what I think, don't come after me

I still like Tyler. Tbh I think that him and Wednesday are perfect for each other. But we need to keep in mind that Wednesday ain't gonna get together with him easily cus of all what he has done, and i'm with her on that. What I want is...for Tyler to get that monster out of him and learn to control his abilities, take accountability for his actions. And then I would like for their endgame. They both have sort of this natural connection, I can't explain. It's gonna be fun to see how their relationship evolves. Which started as friends to lovers to enemies to possibly lovers? Let's see 👀

well, that's just how hunter interpreted his character. remember we don't actually know if he was being controlled during those scenes with Wednesday. tyler didn't have to kiss her and say that he wanted to be more than friends to make her stay for the blood moon because Wednesday would've stayed to solve the case anyway. i kinda think he did like her when he was not being manipulated.

Lovers to enemies to lovers is what I'm rooting for. They have great chemistry. Xavier is kinda boring and not a match for wednesday. With the dark angle of Tyler there's so much more to explore now. Maybe he cannot control his mind and did everything coz of his master. I want Wednesday to free him from his master so that cute coffee boy Tyler comes back. Want Wednesday to help him control his dark side.

My boys mums dead and his dad was hardly a father figure. Then they make him the bad guy, can’t catch a break my guy

I hope Tyler has his redemption in season two he and Wednesday are the best couple on the show

He really liked her, its important to remember is he is being manipulated. I wish Wednesday could of just had a happy moment tho. Hopefully, season 2 will give her justice. I hope we haven't seen the last of Tyler yet. I hope he can turn around a be a good guy.

"He wanted to determine if they were mindless killers or conscious of their action." I'm hoping Burton will play on that very sentence next season, have Wednesday for instance pursuing the research to find out Hydes aren't conscious when killing and just drive the person inhabited absolutely mad till death. Just in hopes that she can find an antidote et we can see them rebuild a relationship. I agree they are both toxic but that's what makes them stunning as a duo. I don't need a romantic interest here, I wouldn't mind one but I don't need it, I just need that fcking chemistry that exists like a flame in their dynamic. Stunning edit by the by :)

just finished the show and immediately went hunting for vids of these two. love this so so much.

i mean, after all that i am still team tyler. and i dont think that is a good thing, but they had so much more chemistry than xavier and wednesday in my opinion.

I actually found the way the Hyde looked very creepy especially with its big eyes. So glad they never showed any videos of the Hyde in full form here.

You can’t say he didn’t feel anything for Wednesday bc no one can fake smith that much. He did care for her and you can see it. That darkness can have a cure and be controlled and I like Xavier but Tyler is a good guy who was forced to do a bad thing and was put into a horrible situation

I think Tyler made her stay, just when Wednesday was leaving in the police station the how does it feel to lose scene. Wednesday was leaving the school until Tyler spoke to her and said you have no idea what is coming he went into a remorse state. I still think someone is in the shadows controlling Tyler. Maybe the Sirens, Vampires or something we have not seen.

I feel really bad for Tyler because he really liked Wednesday and I think she liked him to but when she found out that he was the hide, it all went down hill for both of them. I wish Tyler wasn’t the hide because him and Wednesday were cute together. It would all work out if he wasn’t the hide.

I mean even I know that tyler is the hyde I just can`t stop myself to shipping them, I mean wasn`t he controlled by the Laurel and she literally manipualtes, poisened and tortured him him just for taking her revenge. I think in this situation we can say that the monster was not tyler aka hide and it was laurel, like we can´t blame him, he was literally a slave for laurel. I still believe he can turn normal if he gets helps and he can control himsef than and maybe he can help wednesday and even join nevermore. And I just wanna say something too, I respect everyones opinion but I can´t understand why people shipping Wednesday and Xavier there was literllay NO chemistry between them even Bianca and Xavier had more chemistry but yea I can say Xavier is not normal too bc the paintings and the way he treated bianca so toxic was also bad I actually love him too but I just couldn´t see him with wednesday. I hope in season 2 Tyler becomes good and turn again the human who he in reality is and Xavier and Bianca comes together bc Bianca deserves him, AND they all fights the new villain together

The way I literally didn’t like this man very much until he arranged that date for her in the crypt- HE FINALLY WON ME OVER THEN HE TURNED OUT TO BE THE HYDE. I don’t know why I didn’t like him but I just had a bad feeling most of the show, plus I felt super bad for Xavier he likes Wednesday so much and she wouldn’t give him the time of day not once. Xavier deserves so much better✋🏼

When I watched the series the first time, I stopped shipping Tyler and Wednesday at the end because he turned out to be the Hyde. But now I've started shipping them again. It wasn't Tyler's fault. He was being groomed and manipulated by Thornhill to do her bidding. Now that the show has been renewed, I really hope we'll get to see a redemption arc for Tyler, as well as seeing him learn how to control the Hyde.
