This scene made me realised why the character is so likeable. She doesn’t do it just to “be weird” she’s legitimately just being herself and is completely ok with that. She’s not putting on a show of confidence or quirkiness it’s literally just her being her
I love how while she's doing this dance, the others slowly begin to realize how cool her dance moves are.
Enid genuinely feeling happy for Wednesday is a nice character of her
In memory of “Lisa Loring” who passed away January 28, 2023 from a massive stroke she played the original “Wednesday Addams” on the 1967 TV series the Addams family
The fact that she said in an interview that she made the choreography herself blows my mind... the whole dance is so impressive. She is definitely perfect for the role.
i love how this balances "strange and elegant" with "goofy teenager at a party" like perfectly. jenna's choreography is so fun to watch, she's so perfect as wednesday
The fact she researched goth kids dancing in clubs in the 80s to execute this dance is absolutely fascinating.
Just watched an interview and she revealed how she was bummed they cut away from her purposely done reference to Lisa Loring's Wednesday's dance/shuffle. You can totally see it at
Loved how in some parts of her dance, she incorporates some of the original Wednesday’s dance (where she teaches Lurch how to dance).
It’s the tap on the shoulder along with the stare for me. I love that part ♥️ 💃🏾
She's dancing to The Cramps. A band I grew up on while skateboarding. Instant classic and I love that they used the song and Jenna nailed it.
The woman is simply a force of nature. There are actors and there are stars, and every now and then, there is someone who is absolutely, undeniably both. Jenna Ortega is both.
I'm probably not the only one that noticed this but at
I like how it’s just Wednesday being Wednesday and Tyler is just happily accepting it
I just ❤ the dance. My sister is addicted to it she is 13.
She’s definitely rocking this dance and acting. Her dance is hilarious but at the same time serious and also has this alluring hypnotizing gaze that just makes you not understand how to feel about it 😂
I love that Jenna and this new generation are discovering The Cramps. Ivy is a brilliant guitarist with her own unique style, a synthesis of surf, rockabilly, and punk. And as Lux once said: 'I didn't get into rock'n'roll to save the world.' Yaas!
I love how her dancing is both creepy but makes her look like a bird of paradise doing a weird intricate mating dance XD
During this sequence, Wednesday looked Tyler right in the eyes all the time, totally focused on him. God, she danced to impress HIM.
