Wednesday is an American coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror television series based upon the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, it stars Jenna Ortega as the title character, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Fred Armisen, and Christina Ricci appearing in supporting roles. Four out of the eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton, who also serves as executive producer. It revolves around the titular character, who attempts to solve a monster mystery at her school.
Burton was previously associated with two Addams Family-related projects: the 1991 film, which he passed on, and a cancelled stop-motion animated film. In October 2020, he was reported to be helming a television series, which was later given a series order by Netflix. Filming took place in Romania between September 2021 and March 2022. Wednesday premiered on November 16, 2022, and was released on Netflix on November 23 to generally positive reviews from critics, who praised Ortega's performance but found some similarities to CW dramas. Within two weeks of release, it became the third-most watched English-language Netflix series.

I’m really looking forward to the new season but it’s going to be tough to do better than the first season. Im glad Emma Meyers is coming back,she stole every scene she was in. What an amazing young actress.

Jenna Ortega is awesome, and in years to come, she will become a mega star. Christopher Lloyd is a legend, too. But I want to see Cousin Itt!
So now that's 2 returning actors to the Addams Family.
Would be funny if we see the ghost that is attached to the disembodied hand called "Thing".

Plus he did series Tv too he was Jeff Foxworthy’s son on the Jeff Foxworthy show starting in the second season. Plus he also played Avery( named after his grandmother )in Murphy Brown

Can’t wait for Season 2.
2 thoughts as I watched this. 1) The grandmother is called Grandmama, the reason is because when the TV show (62-64) came out they didn't want her to be mixed up with Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies (62-71) that came out around the same time. I know most people wouldn't necessarily have been bothered by that but for some reason it irritated me. Much like my issues with the animated Addams family movies I won't get into it to much as that's a rant for another day I guess. 2) I'm Stoked to see Christopher Lloyd! His roll as Fester was one of my favorites. over the years.
Uncle Fester and Sora!, OK now I'm hyped.

I see this is just another onging debate some fuss over in our world of needing to argue about everything. It struck me as odd that someone needed to correct others so with the internet you find this is something annoying to some now.
I am confused by the notion that Christopher Lloyd will be in the show, when the first season of "Wednesday" was announced they claimed that he would be in the show as the reprising actor, It was false then, how could this be true this time?
Looking forward to this a great deal.

I feel like we are falling victim to the whole new aspect of Cruella's character with the "Cruella" films, yet I never felt that way about Maleficent with the "Maleficent" films and I don't know why; Maybe somebody help me figure out and understand why I have such diverting feelings about the two unrelated films that happen to follow the similar new trope of recognizing villains as being more like deuterantagonists and less villain-like? Oh, I meant to comment this under a different video. Sorry.😳

I think she was trying to pad out the length to ten minutes without having enough actual substance to make four minutes of actual content. It's *really* annoying. 🙄

She looks way too old to be a school girl now, Season two should have been At home with the rest of the cast having longer roles . Oh and Billy Piper is a terrible actress.
