They literally refer to her power as Medusa's Gaze. It only worked if you looked her directly in the eyes, hence Perseus only staring at her reflection in his shield. The snake hair had nothing to do with it, the other Gorgons had snake hair, but they didn't have her Gaze.

@@solidpixel I wanted to comment. It still makes no sense to me. Gaze or snakes - we saw both in episode one and it did nothing. He looked at Enid and then Wednesday straight in the eyes with snake hair exposed and nothing. Meng Hao even said that it is safe to look through a reflection, but Ajax STONED HIMSELF BY LOOKING AT HIS REFLECTION! I have a right to comment how I feel confused about something without being insulted.

I think Wednesday will develop Witch powers since she’s basically absorbed Goody who was a very powerful witch herself

Correction, wednesday can see in the future and the PAST. This happened in the beginning when she touched pugsley, kissed tyler when he killed the therapist, and goody's past when wednesday touched the old house where the outcasts where burned alive.

Fun fact about Fester's power. His power comes way back from the original 1964 TV show when we're told he has an internal charge of 150 volts. During the og TV show we actually get to see him lighting light bulbs by putting them in his mouth.

The show was kinda telling us from the beginning. From Xaiver outright saying that Tyler is bad news. He trashes something of Xavier's the previous year ans Tyler even told Wednesday that he holds no regrets for it and that even though he did a bad thing, he isn't a bad guy. Which obviously isn't the case. The show was painting Xavier the whole time in the bad light

Morticia also mentioned Weems was spot on with her Judy Garlard impression so I definitely wished it was more utilized in the show.

Did you notice the kids who didn't have faces? What are their powers?

I honestly thought it was Principal Weems the whole time. She was never in the same place at the same time and she tried covering Rowan's death for which I thought she caused. Also the closer and closer that Wednesday was getting to solve the puzzle, Weems kept revoking more and more of her rights to travel.

I'm having an impression of Eugene that his mom's a Filipino and they're a family of Mambabarang which is the opposite of witches but uses insects to infest someone but idk for sure

I loved the part when Wednesday said "it's wedenstime" and Wednesdayed all over the place. New fav. show

I think Wednesday and Xavier would be so good together. Xavier has dreams of things that have or may come true. While Wednesday has visions of things that has or will happen. Then being together could be such a good connection with they're powers

Imagine Xavier stays at Nevermore and becomes Headmaster, then it’ll be Xavier’s school… of gifted youngsters there I said it Nevermore is the x-mansion I mean come on the principal is literally Mystique

I think Tyler's mom is one student of nevermore (a friend of Morticia) but she committed a mistake that she loved a human. Maybe that's the reason that Hyde was banned from Nevermore.

I am not sure why, but this new series has many differences than the other movies. For example in the 2019 Addams Family 2 film Uncle Fester says Wednesday was born on a Tuesday. However, in the 1st episode Wednesday says she is born on a Friday. Also in movies is that Wednesday could read minds but this wasn't said or it never even mentioned.

Wednesday and her mother are psychic but different Wednesdays power is more powerful as she is a Raven allowing her to see negative visions of both the past and future while Mortica is a dove her power allows her to see more positive visions of the future

I really like how they kept it really classic with uncle fester and what I mean by that is is that they were all of our uncle fester portrays he’s always had some form of control of electricity the main symbol of thing that he always used to do a stick a lightbulb in his mouth and light it up so to add the aspect of him actually being able to produce electricity from his body is fucking genius because it makes sense it’s not too far from the classic but it’s not brand new either because it is from the classic it’s genius

Captain here: based on the comic. Pugsley is not invincible, he only has a strong body and a strong immune system in which he is immune to all poisons. If it's an online game, the simpliest explaination is that Pugsley is a Tanker or a tank. Opposite to wednesday where she is the one who inherited Goody Adams ability. In the comics, anyone who knew Goody Adams is feared, Lycans vamps undead. Goody Adams is the most powerful esper and Pugsley and Wednesday are her Direct descendents or bloodline

I think Xaiver"s powers is the strongest because he can summon pretty much everything and he is a artist to so makes sense it will be useful but the downside is he can't control them, he drew the hyde he summoned it and slashed him.

I found it interesting how psychic humans (Eugine, Wednesday, Xavier, Rowan and Morticia) get grouped into the "outcast category," I am assuming Eugine is using telepathy.

I think the out cast category is for any humans with unique abilities other humans do not posses And I don’t think Eugens power is telepathy it could be insect communication or insect manipulation though limited to bees

I think the villain for season 2 was teased in this video's intro. just a theory though.

I think it was episode 3 when Ajax and Enid are in the antique store. Ajax said gorgons are taught not to engage and that he doesn't want to accidentally stone someone, Enid replies saying that she's not scared to be stoned by him, since "it's just temporary". That's all they mention I think, hope that helps!

@@nicole_ig Honestly it didn't occur to me that he had a Medusa like power until he froze himself. I thought he meant "Stoner" as like... smokers

Personally I want to see more of the merman that helped sabotage the boats in the Poe race, he seems like and interesting chracter(maybe)

I want to see the Monster family in this show
