Webley & Scott junior air pistol - part 2 - seal replacement - lubricate seals before refitting.
Part 2 - Piston & breach seal replacement. if doing this, ensure you lubricate the seal, like a numpty, I forgot to include this and ended up restripping it a couple of weeks later!

Nice little pistol, I have a Webley Tempest, thankfully no leather seals. Should the leather have been lubed or soaked before installation?

Yes, you're right but by the time I realised I hadn't done it, it was a couple of weeks later. I'm going to be trying to sort out a very poor firing Hector junior in the future, I'll have to be a bit more in depth with this one. Thanks for watching.
Where did you get the seal kit from? A mate of mine just picked one up and wanted to service it

Hi, got it from www.airgunspares.com The breach seal needed a bit of trimming and the piston seal quite a bit of lubrication but that's only to be expected with new leather. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Please I have like this car and find some drops of oil in the exhaust what can be the problem?
That was interesting , is it a gun you had as a younger lad? Your patients were tested on that one but success at last.

Hi Dale, no but my dad got me into airguns as a lad and I've got a few already. A bit like tools, you can't have too many, although I do need to start on the back log building up in the shed!
