    Great video..love my 26 Weber & you can’t go wrong with Kosmos killer bee. Wish I had bought the 26 before the 22..imo temp control on the 26 is easier & the 26 seems to be built better. Ribs looked great.

    Grate video man ;) I just got a 26 to add to my collection and that guage is frustrating. I bought the 22 SNR and allows for a little more room on the 26.75 plus it's about $50 less and can fit my 22" as well. Kettles make awesome pork and that Kosmos is truth!

    Thanks BrewCrew! Yea I really like the 26. Been using it a lot. Congrats on your purchase too. The SnS is one of the top 5 accessories and I agree, turns out killer pork! Cheers!

    The reason the SNS does not work with the temperature gauge is that the Kettle comes with charcoal baskets and put them on either side of the kettle with the protein in the middle (indirect cooking). Then the protein is in the middle with the thermometer which should give a more accurate reading.

    I just recently bought my first kettle: SNS Grills Kettle and I was able to fit 2 full racks of ribs (they were not babybacks) while using the sns…I wish they made the 26 inch as well. I bet you could fit 4 racks of ribs on that 26 (3 horizontal and maybe 1 vertical). Great video! Smoke on!

    Just snagged one of these myself! I've been using the Meater thermometers because I'd like to see the internal temp of the meats, too. Also takes into account ambient temp. Worth checking out if you don't have them already.

    I added a 2nd thermometer and actually it wasnt much difference in temp at all. I thought it would have been a big difference between the coal side and the smoke side. And thats without a heat barrier. Cooks alot better without the slow n sear on the 26. Been doing it on a 26 for about 7 years

    I have been looking at the 26 inch weber but for a 150 dollar difference you could buy 2 weber 22`s and twice the space $$

    I agree Greg, the price of the 26 is ridiculous. Way over priced. But I get the real-estate space I need for the larger cuts of meat. Right now I have a 12lb brisket on the 26 that would not fit on the 22. So I was forced to get it haha. Thanks for watching and Happy Thanksgiving!

  • @GobbaGooBBQ

    @GobbaGooBBQ

    Thank you Jesse, I truly appreciate that. The Judge is more versatile due to its lower charcoal basket and rectangular shape you get more cooking space. And options. Plus the Judge is a lot funner to cook on. Congrats on yours!!

    I know this was posted 11 months ago but for what it's worth never use use the lid thermometer. Always get your grate level temperature from a standalone digital thermometer.

  • @GobbaGooBBQ

    Hey Tru. These took aprox 5 hours. I cook between 275-290 typically. Ribs will take 4-6 hours depending on their size and thickness. Is you cook at 225 then you’re looking closer to 6 hours. Closer to 300 then closer to 4 hours. Feel free to ask me any questions you have regarding bbqing as I’ve been doing this about 20 yrs.

    I do not use my slow n sear. I prefer to line my coals around the grill. Cant stir the coals in the slow n sear as well and the airflow isnt as good when the coals burn down and creates ash

  • @GobbaGooBBQ

    I usually just give the sns a little shake to drop the ash build up. Also helps to lump instead of briquettes due to less ash.

    I’m looking to upgrade my grill! It’s an Americana charcoal grill, I’m torn between a PK 360, Weber performer or possibly a Komodo! It’s worse than picking a name out for your kids, because I don’t think the wife will let me buy another one! I like your collection!
