Think y'all misheard. The mother took away the people's power, not the dad, after the father was murdered. Wasn't a good decision but at the time she didn't know who to trust. Plus I'm sure, though they didn't say it but, Thantos probably had a sway in that decision.

Yep, it was Thantos that helped take everyone's magic away. Because he technically was married to Miranda after he got rid of Aaron. He did that for power

Cam has the Gift of Sight (visions) and Alex has the Gift of Knowing which is why she keeps saying she KNOWS things

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure the servants lost their magic AFTER Aaron died. Which was valid. Their father was the strongest person in their realm but he gave his powers to his daughters (hence why together they’re strong enough to beat the darkness). Without Aaron (or the twins) the kingdom was left vulnerable. If the servants had their power it would be hard to dictate who “belongs to the darkness.” If enough servants would have come together (and joined Thantos) they could have taken over Coventry.

I feel like ‘Twitches’ should’ve had a whole expanded cinematic universe

I know this movie divisive but I love this sequel. I love Alex’s love and devotion to their father despite never knowing them. I like the lore of how their parents met. Cameron gets to live her princess fantasies. And how they tried delving into the class disparities with magic and such. I always want to cry when thantos just brutally beats up their dad in the shadows. If we did get a third one, would love to see the new dynamics with him. They should have removed the love interests. They took away from the other aspects. To be honest, the first time I saw this, I did not notice Illiyana was played by a different actress.

There is an alternative ending that was supposed to be setup for a third movie, but that never happened.

i think i am of the rare people who love the 2nd movie more. I feel it's less rushed and more developed and it's nice having the sisters know each other at this point pretty well, which can lead to more stories and realistic bickering/arguments lol.

PINKIE RING IS BACK!! And I agree Karsh is one of the best characters in Disney history.

For their timeline, it's been 2 months since the first movie since their were born in October and Alex/Artemis is starting college that winter semester

The first campus scene is nowhere near a postsecondary campus. The 'quad' is actually exteriors in the downtown core near a popular Toronto concert/symphony venue Roy Thompson hall. The nearest college or University campuses to where that scene was shot are the waterfront Campus of a community college rtop the east, and the main campus of my city's named University North of the shooting locations.

About the recasting thing I think it helps if you know beforehand and you don't just find out while watching.

I've seen this a few times over the years and don't at all remember a random polar bear decor in the room! 😂

PLEASE REACT TO "SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON"! It's a story about a strong, beautiful horse with a spirit that can never be broken. I cry every time I watch it! It's a INCREDIBLE film, and the songs are so cool! But it's not a musical and the animals can't talk. 😭💔🔥

I mentioned this in the premiere, but I liked the first one better as both a teen and an adult. I bet I found the first one just more interesting when younger. As an adult, the number of characters being obnoxiously stupid and both twins being so self-absorbed made it hard for me to be interested in the story.

This is my favorite of the Twitches movies 🎉

There is a deleted scene deleted ending which left on a cliffhanger because they were planning on doing a third movie so if you want to react to that it's just like a 3-minute video

You guys just got a new sub!🤟 I loved the Movie Budz channel so much, and I still rewatch a few of my favorites. I was not sure about watching the videos on this channel since I tried when you started, and I personally wasn't feeling it at the time.
