I got the gorilla bow (10lb 20lb, 30lb, 50lb 60lb, 90lb band options up to 300lbs of resistance on the bow itself) when quarantine originally started and it was the only thing could do to add resistance other than body weight and with the "name brand" gorilla bow I was squatting, deadlifting, set up a way to do lat pulldowns, shoulder press, benching was difficult but with modified pushups and the resistance bands I always got a great workout through quarantine. Really I was able to do a lot and actually get stronger in the process. Now that I am back at my home gym I don't use the "bow" part as much but I still use the bands because of how high quality they are from that brand.

As someone who mainly trains calisthenics and with bands (because I have no real access to a gym any way), that bow seems like a great idea generally. Say what you want about “The reliancer” (the thing that looks like a torque bow). But, it actually does work and adjusts from 20lbs to 400lbs of resistance. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now it’s just like a power twister. You can get a whole upper body exercise in just a few different angles. I would highly recommend it for people with limited space, people on the go and someone looking for something new to try. A little maintenance with a screwdriver might be required as the nuts and bolts on it loosen up after usage. Other than that it’s pretty neat 3.5/5 for me for actual use.

So... I have a 10 lb sledge and a tractor tire. I have a 85 lb recurve bow and can't help but notice a lot of the NEW equipment is just weapons or tools that have been rendered incapable of doing this job. This one is just like a bow... except it won't shoot arrows. But it feels JUST like a bow and only costs twice as much as one. And if you think that's great, check out this axe. Unlike regular axes that are used fro chopping and cutting,, this is just a piece of plastic on the end of a stick. It won't chop, cut or do any damage, but you can still swing it like a normal axe and it only costs three times as much as a sturdier axe or sledge would at Home Depot.

I'd like to see you review the BodyBoss Portable Gym 2.0. With a lot of gyms either still closed or open with reduced capacity, my wife and I picked this up because after 9 weeks we were tired of body weight exercise routines. I'd love to see what you think of this, our experience was it felt like one of the most versatile and cost-effective home gym purchases I have seen in a long time with the ability to add bands to increase the resistance even further. We love the videos... keep them coming!

Great episode, give the gorilla bow a fair shake. Their website has all the possibilities you can do with it. Also there are much stronger (90lbs at full elastic force) white short band. The bow is designed to take four bands at once. With the heavy resistance white short band that's 360lbs of force. That works for everyone. Loved the video and everything you folks do.

I agree. Buff dudes bought a knock-off model, and they used a lighter resistance bands. When you use heavier/shorter bands, it really is effective. It’s a compact way of doing barbell reps.

I gave the bow a try. Good supplemental item for a garage gym if you don't have a squat rack. Zercher Squats are legit with that thing. They're right that the lack of tension is a problem for a variety of exercises, but they do make shorter higher tension bands that improves the resistance at the start of the moment. Hellooooo deadlifts.
