i once got pulled over in my old ford van after coming back from the junk yard, the cop asked "is there anything in the vehicle I should know about?" and my dumb ass 20 yr old self said "nothing but body parts". In case you were wondering you can see the rifling of a 45 acp barrel all the way to the head of the hollow point when the muzzle is pointed directly at you from close range. I had to go change pants after that.

I think you should just add some sheet metal to cover the frame all the way along the side skirt

Yeah the side skirt doesn't really work guys - everything else it excellent. As aforementioned, what about simply adding sheet metal over factory structural sill, say, with a 2 -3 inch gap?

I prefer the more sculpted over-fenders to the metal front ones. I’m sure it will look great regardless. Man can Oscar fabricate though! Those bonnet louvres and that front end are amazing.

I think it would look better if it flowed into the body like make it go further along the wheel well and then flow back into the body

flow, its called flow. they should flow the parts together, seamlessly from the front to the back. It would look better, be custom. but the theme is apocalypse "mad max" style. and flowing parts would ruin the theme i guess. I'm with you on it would look better, but its not my car.

Oscar did a great Job!!! I think you should've put an angle on those side skirts plates just to match the front defuser. It's looking great!!

The front fender flares are just not it

Part of me thinks that this is all a coverup so Oscar gets to keep the car rather than it get unjustly stolen from them like the last one. Then he can make it pretty later on when the old buzzard Halicki isn't watching.

I hope that it's just a prank, and the car will be reforced with steelplate armor, lifted suspension and off road tires. Some nice fancy window protection of mesh wire fance and other accessories for an apocalypse... But I guess it's just a name 😥

For everyone saying the front over fenders look hideous I recommend watching the G35 apocalypse build, yes a lot of what is being done to this car is completely ridiculous for an average build, but once it all comes together it will look very cool and unlike anything else on the road. Love the content!

If I was in the apocalypse, I'd want a side skirt I could stand on, with something on top to grab while I ride on the side. Then when we use it for raids, like 8 guys could roll in on the same car.

I agree... front splitter should have run all the way and connect with the fender flares

What if you took the exhaust directly out of the center of the front fender above the mustang logo, then bent it down to below the door and took it back to the desired position by the rear wheel? I think 2 pipes side by side coming out would look best. It could be perfect for an apocalypse build, and it might avoid the structural issues.

@Mike Anderson I don't claim to know much about modding, but it's not impossible and has been done before. All it takes is a second to google search front quarter panel exhaust or front fender exhaust, you'll quite a few images of different makes and models doing it. Don't know why you have to be condescending to a complete random.

@Mike Anderson I mean, he'd likely want to go one pipe out of each fender just to make it easier. Since the headers are going to be one on each side.. I don't see why he couldn't do 4 to 2.. Bring the 2 out the fender and then straight down.. Then bring the 2 down to 1 at the bottom of the car where he'd go all the way back with the one pipe to wherever he wanted. Of course he'd have to have one on each side still, not sure if that was in dudes vision but... Why the hell are you calling this impossible? Can we have a good reason?

I am so glad the classic wheels and rear flares are being used now.

Def on board with everyone else. Side skirts and fender flares look like a last minute idea. A great looking style ( IMO ) would be flares like an RWB Porsche , which flows with body lines while making their own in a way. An apocalypse car can still look “rough” and “fabricated “ but the body lines have to be there first.... otherwise I love how things have gone on it. The hood dimple dyes are pretty cool!

13:26 imagine that front valance out wider an attached to the fenders use what chrome trim as the template I feel it would look so much more aggressive 😍😍 an use the trim for the bottom of the valance

I think painting the whole thing matte black and scuffing the paint would make this whole build have a great apocalypse theme.

You have to do more with that lower front flare. If it’s supposed to be an apocalypse car, one should know that your front wheels should always be protected. It looks like the front wheel is open for shrapnel, or debris. Well, that is, unless you guys already are in the process of taking care of it. If that’s the case? I concede! If not? It’s just a little of my $.02!! Love you guys!

Dude same here! Maybe not a SEMA build on mine, but a channel and a build.

Bring the headers out in the middle of the fender. Run the pipe along part of the front fender flare then down to a set of side pipes on top if the side skirt. It would incorporate the pipes into the widebody and would look sick if it would work 🤷‍♂️

An apparently little-known fact....when you're out in the blinding sun and you have one of those baseball-type caps on...if you turn it around the "WRONG" way, you'll find it has this funny little protrusion that takes the sun off your eyes.... Tricky technology right there!!! hahahaha

All they need to do is use some fleece fabric over the section and allow it to roll under like a production car rocker would, cover that with resin, sand it smooth and it will look the tits.

Why not make a “fake” side exhaust heat shield and still make the exhaust come out in front of the rear wheel???

That looks like a 1930s running board on the side, all it needs is some rubber tread on the top, it doesn't go with the theme, its just flat, it dirsnt resolve it self, the first one looked WAY better, the car has a bolt on theme, the original side skirt after you trimmed it had the perfect proportions. The only way to make that flat side skirt look cool is to make it narrower, and dog bone the outside straight edge. The from spoiler looks good, and those wheels are super bad ass.

If you saw Watch JR Go's M6 side skirt aero was a vinyl siding...lol 😆 You guys are fun to watch and Oscar, keep doing a great job! 👍 Love the builds going on and cannot wait to see everyone getting their apocalypse builds further along! Best wishes and Peace out!

Yeah I agree. I like the build but not a big fan of the apocalypse theme. I think it’s a way to just rush through the project to generate content quickly for the channel. Making it nice would take longer but I would appreciate it. I’m way too particular for a build like this.

it doesnt feel like an apocalypse theme. I mean, if you're gunna do apocalypse go full boar with it. AT tires, ground clearance, offroad wheels, thick metal mesh over the windows and lights... Really just seems more like an excuse as you've mentioned. Too many things done with care mixed with shit slapped together. Like the massive flat spot on the front fender extension.

Why???? Just why?? Looks like a total waste of effort.

that is a really cool idea for the exhaust, i just dont know how its never been done before. It seems like the kind of setup that would suit the hero car of a movie
