Here after Portugal tied to Georgia, played head to head with Australia and beat Fiji.. Just so much proud of these guys 💪

It's inspiring to see how these men train for the World Cup despite not being professional players and having to juggle their own careers. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in France!

Rugby is very niche game in Portugal, like almost all sports here. All the money from a small pool compared to other countries get suck into football.. but amateurs or not these dudes go hard and do their best and all they acomplish is to their own efforts! Hope to see a better sport culture in Portugal besides football.. I'm a big fan of football, i go the stadium often but it's so toxic in Portugal and it not only brings down other sports but it brings down our sport culture.. it's all about hate and referee.. instead of the players, clubs and the game itself

When I was growing up.. in Ireland, it was like this. Amateur. Very little interest. No money. We slowly grew our game. We became world number 1 ranked team (I still can’t believe it) and now we might win our first knock out game at a World Cup.. but we might not. It’s a crazy experience, and it’s why I LOVE rugby. By the way, I love Portugal. I visit often. I will be supporting you guys in this World Cup!

SA and France today in world cup opener. total tries in 185 minutes of rugby. 3. Total points against opposition. 20 Total points against AB's 62 Total yellow cards. 3 Maybe they should get more yellow cards which might lead to more tries as they seem to score a try for every yellow card they get. Well at least they reach another milestone today. first pool game loss in their illustrious history. Two weeks ago biggest defeat to Boks ever. Last year losing a test series to Ireland at home, first time in their history. They seem determined to rewrite their entire history with all new firsts [ losing firsts ] This world cup is going to be a major embarrasment to NZ rugby. A new first for AB's. They don't progress to Quarter finals

1. MAULS are killing rugby😂 = They are stronger than us up front! 2. The game was too slow😂 = We were holding players long after the ball was gone, We had the longest injury where we never removed our "Stabbed!" prop Lomax, Plus you had to review all our card fouls. 3. They picked 7 forwards! 😂 = They are "Abusing their Bench", we don't have the depth to do bomb squads too, so we must stop them from properly pasting us like that with theirs. Shriek for World Rugby 4. Nobody likes stop start rugby😂 = Springboks are responsible for our injuries, cards and pressurized us into countless fumbles & knock on's, they spoil our champagne rugby game 5. The TMOs are too involved 😂 = Sorting out all our on the edge cheating, holding of players is a massive job & we expect officials to let us get away with most of it, these ones actually wanted to penalize us for everything.

@@timwannell6477 Just take a look at how countries like Fiji, Argentina, and Samoa have made leaps in the last 15 years or so. Portugal's rightfully earned their spot, and even if they end up on the losing side by 60 points each game, the experience they'll gain is priceless. This could really fuel the growth of rugby in Portugal, and who's to say where Portugal will be in 15 years?

Wales looks as though it needs a gym - with serious weight lifting/bodybuilding and cardio equipment. Do these guys even lift at al?- they ALL look flabby, soft and underpowered. Not one would make it into the NFL - let alone the Bok squad. Not one.
