Garbisi is a very talented player, but he might no even be Italy's starting 10 at the moment, let alone best player. Playing at 12 all year for Montpellier does seem to have maybe hampered him.

Nice work, the only one I disagree with is JVDF, I think in terms of moments where they've delivered Ireland on the biggest stage it has to be Beirne or Keenan. It's crazy to me how Keenan in particular isn't always mentioned alongside the best fullbacks in the world - so clear of Freddie Steward

im gonna have to disagree with that SA pick. Not saying Kolbe isnt amazing but I believe Faf is pretty much the biggest reason as to why SA has such big success in their games. that man is everywhere all at once and just never gives up. on top of having the strength and speed, his awareness on the field is so many levels above the rest of the SA team. so many games recently where faf has been putting in so much work.

Disagree about Faf. Too telegraphed and slow with kicks. Predictable and fails to ignite out backline consistently.

@@JayKay-on2gr SA gameplan has little to no kicks that turn into plays. they just kick to gain temporary territory so his kicks are perfect for it because that is what he is told to do. the SA backline is a constant mess because half the time mapimpi is playing as a damn forward. youd be shocked at the amount of times you will see the SA team not get a chance to attack on the wing because the wings are completely out of position for it. which could be a result in the strategy they use as a team but you cant mark down a player for not moving the play laterally when they are told not to. Faf does not have any of these issues when he plays rugby league because the team dynamic is completely different. he is by far the reason the team has so much success.

Nice vid You've picked the flash players, not the best players. Lot's of these sides have guys doing massive donkey work that is the only reason the flash kids get the ball Be interesting to pick 1-15 with 1 player per team. I think you would see a very different "best" picked.

Cappuozo is certainly one of the most exciting players in rugby but he’s definitely not Italy’s best player. Would definitely have Garbisi or Fischetti over him, he might even be behind Lamaro too.

I'm not quite sure what you based that list on, so some of your choices seem a bit incoherent to me. If consistency is what you value most, then Kolbe for SA or Capuozzo for Italy clearly aren't the best choices. But if the ability to light a fire or save a game with a magical break all by themselves was a key element in your choices, then I would debate picks such as Stewart or Van Der Flier. I'm intersted in hearing about your reasonning and why you made some of these choices.

To be honest… it’s a range of factors that come together to select the players on the list, not any one single thing. Consistency, Talent, Man of Match performances, form in big matches, value to the team etc. Keen to hear your best player from each team / changes though 👌🔥
