Apologies if one of your favourite tries isn't included. I tried to include 4 tries from each World Cup with a decent representation of all nations. I'm sure I missed a few obvious ones out but ideally I can use that for a part two!

You did Habana a bit hard with the Ngwenya try. You owe him one(at least). 😂🤣

No matter how many times I see Jonah Lomu flattening Mike Catt, it always gives me a chuckle.

That Al Charon try for Canada v Romania has to be one of the greatest counter attack tries of all time. Plenty of defenders to beat, and we see 5 different players running different angles making 4 passes in 4 seconds including a scissors, inside pop and a draw and give. Each one without breaking stride and each pass bang on the money. Not to mention the fullback catching the initial kick at full speed for the counter.

Glad you included the only Ireland highlight in 40 years of World Cups.... and we still lost that game 😢

The 2019 Kolbe try is why Owen Farrell doesn't tackle low. It killed me at the time, it still kills me to watch it now, but it was such a good finish. Also I was in the stadium for the 2007 USA vs South Africa match, lost my head when the US went end to end.

The reason Farrell tackles high generally is exemplified in 2013 against Picamoles. Textbook league-style shoulder against a no. 8 with a head of steam. Led to a turnover. It's a style of rugby he had success before with that has helped him be a more physical fly half than many. But he just doesn't seem to have changed his technique to match the current requirements and, when excited, seems to still lead with the shoulder

Stirling mortlock isn’t exactly slow but he must’ve been shitting himself on that try with two of the fastest players in history chasing him down and gaining pretty fast

Apologies about that. I tried to include four tries from each World Cup - there were quite a few iconic tries from the 2007 that I felt needed including, while Habana's tries weren't quite as superb in 2011 or 2015. If I make a part two I'll be sure to include a Habana try or two!

This sport is just straight brutal. How do these guys live after games?! There was one highlight where a guy in blue (France I assume) suffered a concussion after hitting his head on the ground.... and play just resumed like it wasn't a damn thing. #ouch #wow
