Absolutely love the sound. My family has a 03 with 200k miles and no rust underneath, still runs brand new and is still good for another 100k miles

I have an 04 with about 257k miles, I've talked to multiple mechanics and they have all said very similar things. They can run to 500k+ easily as long as you take care of it. I haven't seen one of these GX 470s under 200k miles. It feels very fast for a SUV from 04 tho. I want to turbo it amongst other things I just don't want to make it a unreliable car.

Toyotas early 2000s truck engine lineup all sound so damn good. From the 2.7l 4 banger in the Tacoma, the 4.0 v6 in the 4runner. And this v8 all sound so damn good and gurthy

I have a 02 sequoia with flow masters people tell me that it sounds like a Chevy

I would have gone with a 4 inch tip so it exited correctly through the cutout in the bumper.

they sound terrible with true dual exhuast that's just my honest opinion.... you look up 4th gen 4runner dual exhaust pretty much same truck just a different body on top

Probably less than $100. With a turbo car though I'd for sure go with a full axle-back or cat-back exhaust.
