My heart was practically in my throat throughout the video, I was just fawning over everything about this video. What a beautiful destination; no trip to the UK would be complete without a lengthy stay in Scotland and the Scottish Highlands, of course. Thank you for providing the perfect video to live vicariously through.

I'm speechless, yet I must applaud. This hotel looks stunning outside as well as the rooms, bars and restaurants inside. I must say, I enjoyed all of it, less so the trophies off stuffed animals, although I'm aware that the hunting was very popular back in the days. Nevertheless, the hotel is very stylish and a perfect romantic getaway. Thank you for filming it so beautifully. 👌You deserved to be pampered. ☺️

It is a beautiful place but I couldn’t enjoy it with all of the animals on the walls.

Well this hotel is really something special. A hotel art gallery and museum all in one. Beautiful decorated and I love the tartan. The scenery is glorious in all it's wildness. Its really amazing. Thanks for sharing. Greetings 💟🌷🇾🇪

It really is, we LOVE it so so much!

You mentioned the population was about 800. My son lives in a town of about 600 in the Mid Western USA. So thankful my grandchildren got to grow up in a small town environment!

Our hearts are definitely in the Highlands with you both Kirsten and Joerg! My husband and I totally enjoyed your tour of the Fife Arms and all it has to offer.. gorgeous design, art, food and so loved your pretty wine cocktail !! I can see sitting in the Lord Byron room writing letters, reading poetry and starting a diary to describe a special moment in life. The tea and visiting with fellow guests another loving interval.

A truly unique hotel! And, what a priceless room to stay in…very comfortable and cosy. The Cairngorms landscape is so rugged! The view from the top looked worth the climb, though. Stay well, Kirsten and Joerg.

What a spectacular and interesting looking hotel! I love the juxtaposition of traditional decor and modern art. My husband was drooling over the whisky bar, and I could certainly do damage in the gift shop! I would love to go there in the fall to dine on Wild, but so would everyone else judging by the prices then. Glad you got to experience the place, and happy that you took us along. It is indeed spectacular! The whisky bar was absolutely amazing, although I don't drink it, it was simply wonderful to just sit there. It's so beautiful! Yes, it's quite pricey all year round (I think the Nature & Poetry rooms are absolutely stunning too and more than enough sizewise). Have a lovely week too.

@@KirstenJoerg For grins Tom checked the prices for this weekend and the first weekend of October, and it was a couple hundred more per night in Oct.! I'll bet it's beautifully decorated for Christmas, although the weather is probably dreadful. Then again, whisky and fireplaces.... 🙂

It would take forever just to get out of the room there was so much to enjoy and appreciate. I love vintage books and I see they had volumes of his poetry. No I am certain I would not have left until I had composed several of my own. Such an art collection. Oh well another weekend I’d be going home broke. I had to say eggs Benedict is my absolute favorite breakfast.

Aww thanks! No, I don't think I would really enjoy it to be honest, I'm not perfect and a lot of people booking tour guides are quite pedantic and look for perfection which I'm simply not. It would take out all the fun for me.

My eldest son is actually moving to Scotland from Canada next month, and I found your beautiful video to be very soothing. I definitely agree that you both do so much to attract visitors to the U.K. Thank you so much for posting this 💕

Sending Get Well wishes from another Outlander fan, it has been such a treat to binge on every episode of 6 seasons! I too just loved the tartans everywhere visible in the Hotel! If i could go to the gift shop there, I would take home that beautiful tartan fringed blanket/shawl on display with the other tartans. Our dear Kirsten and Jorg have truly outdone themselves gifting us with this Highland adventure. The music was so moving and emotional, it makes me homesick for somewhere I have never lived.

I absolutely love your channel. My family spent 4 years in the UK, and I will never forget the way I felt while there. It was like a big step back in time. You both are so lucky to experience your travels, in person. We viewers are so lucky that you share with us. God bless you both. Safe travels.

Lord Byron’s coat is really a unique feature in this room. I’ve never seen anything like that in a hotel room, but clearly this an exceptional room. And the whiskey bar was stunning. I don’t drink, but I really enjoyed the beauty of the bottles lighted with warm, golden light.

Wonderful colors in your room and all the antiques are so appropriate. What a beautiful place to stay.

What an absolutely stunning historical Hotel Fife. I love the eclectic displays and all the Art on the walls. I ❤️🎨🖌🖼 . We love hiking on trails too. We have been to Scotland a few times but we have never been to Braemar, Aberdeenshire. Now it’s on my bucket list for sure! Love the boot room, but not a fan of the animal heads on the wall or the taxidermy hanging around, but it isn’t a deterrent from the rest of the Hotels Art. Joerg is such a romantic 🥰.
