We booked on Booking.com, we’ve used it so much we sometimes get a bit of discount, so it might be that maybe? Either way it was a lovely hotel. If you’re looking for something a bit cheaper we LOVED the Muong Hoa Valley and next time we visit we’re going to stay at an Ecolodge / homestay in the valley just outside of Sapa town, and the scenery is amazing. And we’ll just get a taxi up to Sapa town for things like the visit to Fansipan.

I love the beauty masks scene with you both on the bed watching TV and drinking a hot tea or whatever. Freakin' hilarious! Where are all the tourists? I guess the Chinese were still in quarantine so not as many guests at the hotel...but they're out of quarantine now so it's a good thing you guys were there when they weren't.

😂😂😂 glad you liked that bit. It was really funny to film because Grant hated it and was trying to put a brave fece on for the camera and I was just laughing at him. Yeah it could be that, I’m not sure to be honest. Everywhere we went in Vietnam it was super quiet. We were at Phu Quoc in March and we were pretty much the only guests. Had the pool to ourselves every day. At first it was really nice but it felt a bit weird by the end. We would eat in the restaurant and it would be literally just us and all the staff!

The facemasks are a great look!!! 😂
