I love that shot of clouds sandwiched with the blue sky between...that was super cool! I think if you stayed up in Fansipan long enough, the clouds will clear out for a bit and you'll get a different view (although I do love the clouds surrounding the area to give it that mystical and magical feel).

Thanks for the advice - we’ll give that a go next time! We thought it looked magical with the mist rolling over the top of the mountain (and the super strong wind - we had to cut the sound out from most of the shots as it was crazy loud 😂) but it would’ve been nice to have some clear views as well. Can’t complain though as the views on the way up were amazing 🤩👌

hmm idk how i feel about cat-cat village. Looks more like a disneyland rather than a real traditional village

Yeah it’s not really an actual traditional village anymore. More like a pretend traditional village put on for the tourists. It looks really cool though, so worth popping in if you have time, but it’s nowhere near as good as walking in the Muong Hoa valley and seeing the actual local villages or going up Mount Fansipan (which for us were the real highlights of Sapa).

No matter how they beautify it, the mindset of the people will make the country a third world slum. Look at how much garbage littered, disorderly traffic, and thefts.

Rất đáng tiếc văn hóa người Việt vẫn còn hẹp hòi lạc hậu, thô lỗ nên từ già đến trẻ đến cha mẹ đến thầy cô giáo đến chính phủ lãnh đạo đều có đầu óc tư tưởng tham lam gian lận trộm cắp, thiếu ý thức vứt rác iả đái bừa bãi, thiếu trật tự lộn xộn ồn ào. Vì vậy, xã hội thành phố lúc nào cũng lộn xộn ồn ào, bẩn thỉu dơ dáy, lường gạt trộm cắp khắp nơi.

Honestly we had the best time ever in Vietnam - it’s literally my favourite country in the world now. Not sure how you had such a bad experience. I know it’s developing rapidly, did you last visit a super long time ago or something?

@@hungcuongnguyen293 Vietnam located on the coastline, so it got some beautiful landscapes. Unfortunately, the culture of Vietnamese is known for scammers and thieves. So enjoy but don’t let your guard down, because they will rip you off and steal from you. Vietnamese overseas who do not assimilate with the new culture but stuck with their old mediocre and slum culture still have the same slum mentality. As a Vietnamese, I’m ashamed but not ashamed from speaking the truth.
