“Almost there!”😊 yes you are!!!

I've been waiting a few days to comment to truly see how it's going but over the years i've been watching, i truly have seen a massive change in Nicky. His communication, his demeanour, how much more receptive he is; it's truly incredible to see him consistently be the happy go lucky kid he always was when taking a break from school. The saying 'you'll know when you know' truly has come to fruition, Nicky knew, you guys knew, everyone around him knew that this was his time to break free and grow in a new path. It might not always be easy but you guys are doing amazing things for him and creating a world where he can do amazing things right back. You're all great and doing an incredible job!! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and i hope this next week bring's more contentment and happiness for you all!

We make the best decisions we can with the information we have at the time. Many autistic people are in school until they’re 21, that’s what we usually expect. But the moment you realized that wasn’t Nicky’s path you made a difference choice. I think you all made this decision at the exact time it needed to happen 🙂 have a good weekend

Happy Friday

I love Sam, glad a family member is involved in his education. Great that Dad is also an educator and advocate. To see him so happy is great. Almost a relief. Homeschooling definitely seems to be best. I love your family, and your positive energy. Go Nicky!!!!

So excited for you all. We’ve homeschooled our son since middle school and it has blessed us in so many ways. Happy!!

Oh man my hubby says the same if it's in the fridge it's fair game. He will happily eat something the kids save for later .....drives us nuts 😂😂. Glad Nicky is doing better, Jonny is so good with hisbrother. I'm sure you are very proud of your boys .

Looks like Nicky is doing so much better. Love his smile. I feel so bad that he had such an awful experience in school. That should be a safe place, not a traumatic place. Hugs to you guys. Nicky is such an awesome young man. You guys are amazing and I just love your channel. I also am learning a lot from you. My 2 year old nephew is showing signs of autism. He hasn’t been diagnosed but he has a lot of signs. His dad and older brother actually have a number of symptoms as well. After watching KZread videos on autism as well as working with a few kids who have autism, I really notice it more. I love them regardless and that certainly wouldn’t change no matter what.

I find myself looking forward to the daily Vlog to see how Nicky’s day went more and more! Just elated for him!! I wonder what the heck was so so bad causing him that anxiety. Any way Mrs Harrison can join Nicky’s team and maybe also do some homeschooling with him for an hour or two a week? How great would it be if Nicky could independently walk to her house and do that!!!! Even if she brings him into the community for an hour or two a week. I’m sure she’s so heartbroken!

@@shannonsavoca975 I’m sure it’s big a big transition for you and John but to see Nicky absolutely so happy and saying ‘happy, happy’ completely makes this 💯 the right decision. I wonder if he knows this is for good! I told John if you guys want I can have Matthew meet Nicky in a field and run around for some peer to peer activity time in AVille. Matthew is playing soccer in college in the fall but he’s around until then. His 18th bday is 3/24- close to Nicky

Could Nicky perhaps use a chopping board? Looks the wobble of the plate puts him off when he's trying to cut his burger.
