Even something like Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter cost $100k (CAD, checked the conversion and in 2001 it was roughly 1.5-1.6 CAD to 1 USD, which means it cost around 60-70k USD). btw that movie is awesome, its about Jesus protecting lesbians in Canada from vampires. (how can it be bad with such a plot?) I wonder what the pricetag of Cracked's little trailer here would be if you included things like wages/salary and any equipment they already had. Hell I bet they spent more than $20 on the electricity used when editing the video. But yeah, $20 goes a lot further when you are on a shoestring budget than when you have a healthy or large budget.

The penguin scene with the car is unbelievable. I just watched the original trailer back to compare. The acting, the lighting, the effects, truly genius…and I’m not even being sarcastic. SOOO good.

I absolutely love this spoof!! I am a huge Batman fan and these creators did a fantastic job of spoofing on Batman I couldn't stop laughing. Some of the scenes were hilariously redone and I loved it.
I love that I don't need to watch movies anymore, either you guys remake it or Jordan recaps them from a basement or whatever 🤣🤣

I'm convinced that the Movie Recaps guy just has some kind of software that lets him computerize his voice for text to speech. His cadence and tone are just too off sometimes, it really feels like Microsoft Sam or one of those. Not that that's a bad thing, necessarily.

a few actors were actually half decent and building miniatures and editing man hours isn't free. this is easily a $1,000 + production, actors don't usually work for free. unions get salty.

The movie was trash. Here you see copied scene after scene, from that, just made it faster (cutting off f* slow thinking, and even more nonsenses), and you get a parody. That's what Reeves's movie really is - a disrespectful parody.
