You have to remember that Loretta was abused and came from a not so nice home from the past so she probably had to fight for her food and it’s still in her mindset, which is so sad😞

I love Gus’s and Loretta! It’s just heartbreaking that know that Loretta had such a hard time before she was rescued. But she’s living like a queen now with her best friend. You guys are awesome!

You should leave one of the old bowls in the pasture so Loretta can still do her victory laps !

You can tell that Gus is more patient he didn't get excited over the food bowls. Poor Lorreta's earlier life must have made her this way..😢, it's sad, but now, it's a little funny cause we know she's in awesome hands now❤ Those stingy victory laps are funny, though❤😊😊😂

Well, Loretta doesn't have a cabinet to put her bowls away. She improvised. In the cool, out of sight, tidy up the pen. 😊😊😊😊❤

Jason, you are a great man. My husband is my rock star ... always doing things for us. Brooke and I are both blessed.

Loretta was graciously transported to her COG HILL HEAVEN.

The cat I adopted from a rescue he was in a cat room with six other cats for over a year. I guess they'd eat every bit of food. He still, after 12 years, always finds something in the house to carry to his dry food bowl to cover up any uneaten food he has, despite there being no danger of anything else eating his food. If I leave either bathroom door open he will pull the towels down to use them to cover his food. He very carefully arranges the food covering to avoid his water dish. The other day he shredded up part of a roll of craft paper to cover his food with. I have decided to buy some hand towels just for him to use over his food. Poor old guy, he must've been hungry at the shelter that he was in for over a year. I decided to adopt the cat no one else wanted, the one that probably needed a home and love the most. Because of my cat and his food issues I can understand why Loretta might have some need to guard to want all of her food to herself, poor girl.

Leave some other bowl in there for Loretta so that she can carry it around whenever she wants. 💙

That looks good…as my dear daddy used to say,”it’s close enough for government work!”

She is always happy about food.

The next step will have to be airtags for the food dishes! It would be nice for Loretta to also have a to-go dish and a tiara to carry around the pasture. Please stay safe out there in the heat!!

It looks like Loretta doesn't finish her meal all in one sitting, so maybe that's why she picks her bowl and carries it off at the end. She is trying to save it for later and keep Gus from finishing her bowl off.

Another brilliant fix Jason! Can't wait to see Loretta's reaction. If she is too frustrated, I like the idea of leaving the old bowl for her to parade with. Seems like she handled it very well though.

The distance between the bowls was really wise to prevent quarrelling when the really good stuff gets served up .

A lot of people are posting about her needing something to hide. Take her old bowl's and see what she does with them. She's still going to run and hide with her melons. Which I think is so entertaining despite the reason why she does it. I love watching your channel.... There's never a dull moment ❣️

I would be a little concerned about food falling around the corners and attracting pests, but, they'll probably get fancy about eating so they don't lose any. I think Loretta actually seemed relieved in some kind of way. She seemed like she was saying thank you.

That's a smart design for a dual, stationary feeding station Jason! It never ceases to amaze me how Brooke and Jason always find ways to improve the lives of their babies. The shadecloth with a deluxe waller was brilliant! Everyday is a vacation day for the Honeymooners.

I would just say he needed to move in down away from the gate coming in and out it is in the way too close.. But Still a Homerun Jason!!

The only issue I have with the boxed in feeders for the Honeymooners is that, food can fall under the feeder on the four corners of the box. Pigs root and if Loretta or Gus get to rootin because the of the food building up under those four corners… that wood won’t make it. I liked Brooke’s idea. Short chain on the feeder so they can’t get wrapped up in it. I’m usually behind you all the way Jason, but them pigs might break the wood eventually. Fingers crossed 🤞
