I rode a school bus to school for 12 years with NO A/C! Those were the days...hot, sweaty rides in the school bus filled with hot, sweaty kids🙄😁 The schools also had NO A/C's. The teachers opened the windows and turned on the small fans around the room. We all survived!

My dad was born in 1928. He was the eldest son and 2nd of 9 children. His parents farmed in western Oklahoma--through the Great Depression AND Dust Bowl. In elementary school, he and 2 of hus sisters rode their biggest mule to school and back. When my dad was in the 9th grade, the school system needed a bus driver for their bus route. My dad was hired--and drove the route to and from school daily. BTW, his family did not have electricity, plumbing, or a telephone.

Gary, enjoy Ramsome every day. He will never be as innocent & cute as he is now. Next summer he will be older but this year he is the perfect little boy. He reminds me of my little guy who is now 33. Miss those old days.

This one made me cry hard , deep in the soul tears, watching you and Ransom do what my son Bill and I loved doing out in the country. Bill was my shadow, my blessing. He blessed many communities. He was a Firefighter and EMT. He had his Last Call of Duty on March 9th 2023. Bill left behind his wife of 17 yrs. A 13 and 10 yr old son, 2 sisters, a big brother, and me, his Mama In 2020 he started a personal KZread. Taking his boys on their first deer hunt where they shot the deer. He took his oldest at 11 dove hunting. There were many memories of fishing. Kayaking and having fun. When I need to see his smile and hear his voice, I go to his channel. You will never regret making these beautiful memories. God bless you and your family. I'm a faithful fan.❤

When I was a teenager (I’m now in my 80d) my Dad fixed up an old school bus to go camping . With refrigerator and stove and bunk beds . I’m the second oldest of 6 kids. Finally on the maiden voyage for vacation all loaded it made it to the corner and died. We rolled back to the yard. It took 2 weeks to get it rolling again. But too late for vacation. We always spent our summers at lakes and hour away. Usually in a tent. But good memories.

The heavy rubber mats from the bus could be recycled as floors for chicken coops, chicken tractors, and grow-out pens. Of course... since there are so much rubber mats... you'll need to build some more chicken coops, tractors and pens. And then get more chickens to fill them up! 🐤🐔

Nooo bottle feeding for Benjamin is coming to an end. Sad day! Lol I hope you guys keep handling him so he stays sweet. Maybe after Annie Oakie has been in with Benjamin she’ll be tamed and like to be petted. It’s impossible not to love your old Jeep.

In New York, my childhood home was on a road like yours.

If you don’t know, you can buy disposable bags for the toilet. No cleaning☺️

Park in the shade, makes a HUGE difference in AC.

The ac should help while your working on it, it may work better if your working in the shade. Once you have insulation in you maybe able to use just one. I know it may not be in the budget but camping world has a roof top rv ac, an rv mini split, Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - LED - White. I used one of those potty seats in the back of my horse trailer while camping with my horses, lined it with a plastic bag and used kitty litter, lol

Love the Willies Jeep! My Dad got one for a while that he tinkered with, he had a live for them. My parents actually took it mudding with me & my 1st husband who had a F250 with a lift kit 4×wheel drive, not quite a monster truck, lol...this was back in 1982. It was an interesting experience. We had a Jeep Scrambler for a while too. My brother has had a few Jeeps over the years & my daughter has one now. Hmm, maybe I need a jeep! Lol!

Gary, Today I stopped by a roadside stand and bought my favorite the *black diamond* watermelon. I nearly fainted when it was $12.00 for a medium melon. I don’t have a yard to grow anything more than a couple herbs. Be glad you can grow them for pennies. I agree with you the *black diamond* variety is the best!!

It is 1 degrees celsius this morning with ice . I'm travelling to the snow to pick up a youngster for the weekend [8 hours return trip. I'm from Hamilton New Zealand

For that potty chair or 5 gallon bucket put a plastic trash bag in it. Put pine pellets for horse stalls in the bag about two big hand fulls. Great for a night number one and don't need to walk across camp at night. The pellets expand when wet. Just close bag up and either put in trash or a yard compost pile. I have done this for years in my campers so I didnt need to use the black water tank. We always stay at State camp grounds with full bath houses. Also no odor due to the pine pellets. The compost pile I put the pine pellets in is not for the veggie garden, only for decorative shrubs.

It's been very hot and dry, here in Illinois, but Praise the Lord, it's Raining right now. They haven't had to mow my yard in 2 weeks. It is the 4 of July but a nice rain until say 1pm would help a bunch! God Bless, Have a great 4th and be safe!!!

After the rubber is removed put down Kilmat sound deadening self adhesive sound mats makes a big difference when driving so people can talk without shouting.

What a great ride down the beautiful country roads...❤

You could put a wood frame around yhe windows that you want air-conditioned in and then screw the air conditioners into the wood, top and bottom and make them secure. I 2 have the 5000 but in smaller bedrooms and they work really well. I had those for about 7 years.

I love the principals that you & Cassy teach your children about money. Seeing them spend their own money, that they have earned, reminds me of my childhood & of how we taught our children too. Can you tell me the name of the store you'll were at & where it's located? I love going to those types of stores.
