Amazing work. I can't believe you covered so much in a single video. Usually something of this scale would have been chopped up into 10 videos for views.

Yeah it was a FIERCE 96 hours to get it all done haha, reckon we could do more as well, get that nice border and then convert some cool heralds for each faction!

Absolutely stunning! The dream campaign map come to life. I think a fun detail you could add might be little eagles in the misty mountains, spiders in mirkwood, and other creatures that could bring some life to the board

Really great, it was looking lovely with just the airbrushing, but then the scenics added at the last step elevated it so much. This is the best use of a 3D printer I've seen!

You're a talented fella. I have always been impressed with the talent and energy you bring to your terrain features and contexts. For so much of this hobby it is about the models, which is great and you do them well too, but you bring another dimension with the framing you do around those models. Good luck with the channel! Flappergasted that you did alot of it in just one day, haha. This looks so amazing, would love to be able to do something like this once I'm not a student in a medium apartment anymore. I love the mountain ranges you did, but maybe Mordor needs a bit more of something darker? To get that more sinister look we have at the mountain range from the end shots of the Fellowship of the Ring for example

Absolutely have to add something memorable for Dale and Erebor and perhaps some of the old first & second age ruins sprinkled around (i.e Gates of Argonath, Dol Guldur, Grey Havens, Moria, Fornost, Eregion, Gundabad, Carn Dum)

This shit looks amazing, I was thinking about recreating something similar to this but based off Battle for Middle Earth games so you would have a lot more cities/forts ie Fornost/DG/Dol Amroth but having seen your board now I realise I would probably need something twice as big to fit all those added iconic locations. This is the kind of board I would love to purchase as a whole its so cool if anyone made either wood carved or similar versions to this. Can't wait to see your full Middle Earth campaign use this board!

Thanks Adam! Yeah my long term plan is to add Beleriand and Valinor and then mount it in the studio as a backdrop, but keep the tiles removable so I can drop them down for campaigns :)

Amazing! I have been dreaming about doing exactly this for several years now. Might be time to get started..

I was thinking about hextons for our AoS community, making them fight over territory and build their own empires! Really inspiring work as always Zorp!!

What an incredible board, like the biggest game of the war of the ring board game by fantasy flight ever played. You mentioned having little tokens for commanders as they move through the campaign, that would be awesome. I'm not sure the detail might be too small, but what about some little dead mumaks for the pellenor fields? That was always my favourite detail from that build.

Wow, love it so much. That is going to be a gaming resource used for years. 1 suggestion drill a hole in each tile for flag poles like the old GW mighty empires. Hope those LOTR themed tiles will be for sale.

I'm sure the views will pick up again soon, keep up the good work mate!

Hey I member the White Dwarf team made an article about a campaign in this format a while ago. But you really took it to the next level. Damn.

Once again living the dream ^_^ I have actually been dabbling in a ruleset inspired by mighty empires and other similar systems to make a Map campaign based on the Long winter. I am so happy to see this and find more fitting tiles. Maybe this will push my own little project forward at last. But please tell me that this grand war simply will not only be contained in New Zealand alone... Europe request to have a front delegated😁 Lets this war expand to the whole world wherever your loyal followers stand ready to serve the war effort!!!

The piece for Lothlorien would stand out more (and be more lore accurate) if the leaves were golden-yellow. That's the only thing about this whole amazing thing that I can reasonably complain about, because it is the most glorious campaign map in the history of wargaming.
